Needs updating
This hotel is showing its age. Needs total updating. The internet connection is worthless. The staff is not very friendly. Used to be a very nice place to stay. Would not return.

Great Night in South Bend, IN
My wife and I stayed at the Varsity Clubs of America in South Bend, IN for only one night. We were delighted with the suite we were given. All of the appliances worked well, the rooms were clean, there was a patio (albeit small) that we didn't expect, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. All in all, a great experience.

Awesome!!
I stayed here the night before my wedding and the wedding night. Everyone was so nice and excited that I was getting married. The rooms were clean and good size. It was enough room for several bridal party members to get ready and for me to move around comfortable in my dress. My new husband saw the room on the wedding night and he loved it! Everyone that saw us wished us Congratulations! It was the best place I have ever stayed.

Great location, Very nice spot!

Great stay at the Varsity Club!
We had a great experience at the Varsity Club. We traveled to South Bend to move our freshman daughter into the dorm and found a good rate for this property on Orbitz. Lots of other ND families were there at the same time we were. It's a nice location - close to lots of shopping and restaurants and not far at all from campus. I highly recommend it, and I know we'll be staying there again when we are in the area.

Short drive from hotel
There's a pancake house between the hotel and campus - I believe it's called the Original Pancake House. It was a great spot for breakfast - the portions were huge and it was very good.

Several nice resturants are located on Main Street in Mishawaka, and Martin's supermarket on 23 has a nice breakfast area.
