Simple and Convenient
First time ever staying at a Microtel Inn. I was in town to visit Notre Dame University which is just south of the hotel. Room was not the most spacious but was comfortable, neat and well put together. Found an ironing board and iron in the small closet which I did not expect, but definitely put to use. Staff was nice and helpful with directions and general knowledge about the area.

Clean, convenient and great value
For Notre Dame visitors, the location can't be beat, Just mintues from the Dorr Road entrance to campus. Make sure you DONT get the handicap room though as the shower has no bottom edge (I assume to allow a wheelchair to roll in) and it leaks al over the bathroom floor.

Over Night Stay During 1200 Mile Travel
We arrived past 11:00 pm; the front desk was expecting us. The accommodations were well laid out, attractive, clean, and simple; everything worked. The continental breakfast was very good - waffles, cereals, yogurts, fruit, juices, etc. We definitely recommend this as a stop when driving across Indiana. Good area with easy access off/on turnpike. Price for three people was reasonable.

Good location
Great location near the campus of Notre Dame, however outside and inside noise was very noticable and bathroom counters are small. The room was clean and beds comfortable but I suggest having more fruit available for breakfast and putting the TV in their for customers.
