Great location, staff, breakfast & comfortable beds

Enjoyed our one night just off campus at the Ivy court Inn. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival. The room had a nice size wall-mounted television, desk, a counter top area with sink, microwave, mini-frig & a sink area outside bathroom. The beds were super comfortable. The fresh coffee & abundant breakfast the next day was great! Fresh eggs, hash browns, sausage/bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes & make-you-own waffles. Overall, a nice little place & would come back again.

quick visit

people at reception desk were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Bedding was comfortable and rooms were well equipped and attractive. Everyone on the other surveys raved about the breakfast. I found it to be good, but not anything spectacular. There was a very good availability of drinks and options for breakfast and the homemade salsas looked great, but I did not try those. It was also very clean and the staff for breakfast was great. I would go to this hotel again.

Excellent hotel for visiting Notre Dame

I loved everything about it. My room was clean, spacious and beautiful. We were visiting Notre Dame University and couldn't get any closer unless you stayed on campus. Great value and would recommend to everyone.

Great Hotel in South Bend

We had a college visit planned for Notre Dame. The hotel couldn't be closer to campus, as it sits at the southeast corner. Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the flat screen was large enough to see while sitting on the bed. Some hotels don't think a out that when buying televisions. The hot breakfast was great and there were excellent chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. Plus, the way the hotel is designed without a cookie-cutter box look, you almost have the feeling that you are staying at a resort.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Very good Irish pub & restaurant just up Angela Blvd and directly across from the Notre Dame entrance. It's called O'Rourke's and, unlike most Irish pubs with dark paneling and brass, it has a nice selection of regional microbrews, such as Three Floyds, Bells, and Founders, as well as the ubiquitous Guinness.

We stop in South Bend on our way to Grinnell, Iowa and this is our first time at this hotel. The linens are clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was extra special with the fireplace.

college visit

Stayed here because it was close to Notre Dame. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable but the room was very hot. Could not open the window because the sound of traffic was very loud since our room faced the highway. The breakfast was very good. Coffee was well needed and it tasted great. When we come back for the final interview with Notre Dame will make sure I ask for a room facing the courtyard.
