Ivy Court Inn and Suites

very nice and comfortable. I wish there was a sidewalk all the way to the hotel as it was perfect to walk to the Compton Arena.

This was my first stay at Ivy Court when my son and I visited the Notre Dame campus. My worst nightmare came true when our departing flight out of South Bend was cancelled due to weather. When I went to the Front Desk to ask for help it was my lucky day that Jen, the Sales Manager, was there. She was truly my Guardian Angel that day. Not only did she make numerous phone calls to help me but she personally drove my son and I to the bus stop so we would make it on time after she was able to track down the bus schedule. I never would have made it to Chicago to catch my connecting flight if not for her. I felt like she treated me like family! Not to mention the hotel was great, the location convenient to Notre Dame, and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding! I will never stay anywhere else if my travels take me to South Bend again!

From the best breakfast buffet at any hotel, to the pleasant young people that work the front desk, to the well appointed rooms, this place cannot be beat for the price. If you have business at Notre Dame, it is literally across the street.

I took a red eye flight to South Bend and asked to check in early - which was gracefull accommodated by the staff. I arrived late for breakfast, but the staff still made sure I got fed. Room is OK, the hotel could use a bit of a spruce up/ new paint, but the bottom line is I got a great deal and was treated very well. I would stay again.

Easy to find; rooms were large and comfortable; The staff was extremely helpful and courteous; I would stay again for sure;

I found the hotel to be pleasant, warm, clean, hospitable, and a good value for my dollar! The staff was friendly and helpful! The complimentary breakfast was outstanding and the complimentary WiFi added to the value of staying at this very fine establishment! I would not only recommend this hotel to others, but I look forward to going back there again!

I hadn't been to South Bend before and didn't know where to stay.....so I kind of backed into this place, as I couldn't do my countless hours of research- it was a last minute business trip. In any case the hotel was extremely comfortable and clean and very nice. The breakfast was amazing....the best salsa (with egss) I have ever had. Excellent value; my only small gripe was a lack of good restaurants nearby. Had to drive to downtown SB which wasn't far.

My only big complaint with the lodging was that our room was nearest a fairly busy street, and it was quite loud in the room from passing traffic. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was quite good (fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.). If I were to stay more than one night in South Bend I would have asked to be switched to a different room so that I would not be facing the street.

This was our second time to stay at the Ivy Court. We had another great experience; the location is so convenient, the staff so helpful, the room very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast delicious!
