If this hotel had cost me $70, I probably wouldn't have given it another thought. However, this totally subpar room cost $130, and that was only through a discounted travel site! The room was freezing cold when we arrived, the remote control didn't work, the decor was tacky and outdated, and our window was literally three feet from a car that was parked in the parking lot directly outside, so we weren't able to open the blinds at all. The pillows on the bed were half the size of normal pillows and when I went to the desk to request two additional pillows, I was told that I could only have one. The breakfast in the morning consisted of some cereal and stale bagels. Again, if this room had been less expensive I would not have put up such a fuss,. but you can find a nice hotel in downtown Chicago for $130/night, there was absolutely no reason to spend this kind of money on this dingy hotel. Complete waste of money.

Older hotel but the rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Good value for the money.

This hotel is a few miles off the main interstate, but if that is okay, you will be rewarded with a quiet sleep, with many places to eat nearby. You can walk to McDonalds, Long John Silvers, Kobe Steak house(very expensive), with many, many others near by. Staff very nice and helpful. Came back a week later and had internet issues, would ask if this has been resolved? No elevator for 2nd floor.

Perfect for what we needed it for. Decent value, comfortable bed, clean. Very close to US 30, including several restaraunts, bars, grocery store, and Wal-Mart.One turn off is that it is a smoking hotel, but that is a personal issue. Others may like that it is smoking. Can't comment on continental breakfast as we slept past 9a & missed it.

We were in Schererville for a wedding and needed a reasonably priced room. We were not diasppointed with this Hotel. There is no elevator, which could be a problem for some people, but it was okay for us. The room was spacious with a king sized bed, a sofa and a flat screen tv. The bed was comfortable, my husband loved the pillows! It took a while to get the room cooled down, but it finally got there. I think if they knew they would have guests in that room they would have set the a/c on low cool. The room was quiet, we heard very little noise from other rooms or the hallway. Breakfast was very good. All in all we were pleased. There could be a larger sign to help you find this hotel, a small sign behind a Long John Silver sign was barely noticable.

Overall a very nice experience! Hotel was clean, quiet and had the best shower I've experienced in a hotel in a very long time! Found it easily due to the other traveler tip of it being located behind the Long John Silver's, but it's location is convenient to a host of eateries and main travel ways to get you where you want to go. Staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints about my stay here whatsoever!!

Overall my experience was a good at this hotel.

Nice stay that didn't bust our budget. Stayed at hotel while in town for a high school graduation and family visit so didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we had spare time at the hotel, we used the pool quite a bit. Very convenient to many restaurants, shops, mall and major highways. Quiet setting away from main road noise - however, sign at entrance needs to be larger as you can't see hotel from the road.
