If we hadn't been in town for a funeral, I would have taken the time to find somewhere else to stay. It wasn't the fact that the hotel was rundown but among many things, the towels were very stained and very stiff and the mirrors were smeared. I
went and bought cleaners just to feel semi clean! Our car was parked against the curb in front of our room the entire stay. Upon check out we discovered a scratch down the whole passenger side. I would never recommend this place. The price was no bargain compared to the service!
The lady at the desk was super - enthusiastic, helpful, personable. Cleaning staff, at least the job they did, was less commendable. My wife was worried about what she might catch by stepping into the bathtub for a shower. Breakfast was adequate,
at best, but the restaurant next door cured that. Proximity to I-70 was great, to railroad, not so good. Neighborhood seemed iffy but no incidents occurred.
Not much for extras...but we only stayed for over night and there was biscuits and gravy donuts and coffee and juice.no coffee maker in room..but price for hotel all relevant...pool was not open..to early..but we knew that before we booked.
