A good place to rest

We did not check out the fitness room or the pool just needed to sleep. Room was very nice but small and it was quiet. We were confused when they asked us for our credit card when we got there and again in the morning to pay for the room. We thought we had paid for it that evening. Coffee tasted bad in the complimentary continental breakfast but there was a large choice of food and it looked good. Would stay there again but bring my own coffee.

College Visit Stay

This was a quick overnight stay while visiting Ball State for a college info tour. Great location. Rooms were clean as was bathroom. Front desk staff seemed willing to help but not able to do more than greet guests and check them in. Breakfast food was average but the breakfast area was very nice. Manager greeted us while we ate breakfast which was a nice touch but would have preferred to have his presence when we checked in and front desk staff was unable to give us adjoining rooms because "even though there were adjoining rooms available they were not allowed to change room assignments". The 24 hour "suite lounge" was a nice touch. We did not need to use it - but I could see how it would be very useful if we had arrived late or checked out early before breakfast was open. Overall our experience was fine.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Cheeseburger in Paradise is closed. We ate at the Texas Roadhouse which was busy and loud - but fun for the kids. Our waitress was great, food was good but drinks were average and way overpriced!!
