Weekend stay
The hotel gave away our reserved room with two queen beds, so we had to stuff three people in one king size bed. The following night, we were given a room with two queen beds, but it smelled badly of cigarette smoke. The management said it was a non-smoking facility, but both replacement rooms they offered smelled badly of cigarettes.

Great Location for an ND game!
After reading some reviews, I was prepared for the worst. I was very pleased with the hotel, great location, clean, comfortable, nice staff, great price...They let us check in 8 hrs. before check-in for $25, couldn't have asked for better for the price. Great location for an ND game-only 5-10 mins from the campus...and great shopping and restaurants across the street!!!

Gross unless you party
I wouldn't stay there again to save my life. As a matter of fact, if I made enough money, I'd pay you to keep away. Our air conditioner didn't work, the bathroom was gross, dirty towels, linen, and I could go on and on. The guys started cleaning the rooms at 7am and didn't pay attention to the sign on the door not to bother us. Take your money elsewhere. Brown orange juice....really?? The guy at the front desk spent more time smoking than he did inside the hotel. Just my experience.

a no-frills, okay stay
If you have a short overnight planned and just need a convenient clean place to lay your head, this may be it. It is a no-frills, no real lobby, strip mall hotel close to the colleges and the main roads. The decor is dated, the front desk area had no a/c and the breakfast was just the basics but the room was clean, the parking was safe and the bed was comfortable. We'd stay there again. Nothing special was ok for us this trip.

Nice stay.
Room was neat and clean, and the common areas were adequately maintained. The staff was courteous and friendly. In general, given the short duration of our stay this was outstanding value for the money.

nice and quite
hotel was nice and quite even on ND game weekend. rooms were a little older but nice for their age. overall a good stay.Staff was friendly. Walking distance to nice restueraunts and nice new big mall

First business trip, ever!
Not this Super 8 again.
My husband and I just needed a place to stay in our travels. This was the very basic. We could hear the baby cry next to us like there was no wall. And the kid running around on our heads like you were in your basement and the kid was upstairs. Bathroom door was dirty.

Not happy
We were booked for a queen bed and were given a double bed. Tried to change and the staff would not do anything and the hotel had very few guests. We would not stay there again.

Better than I anticipated
The hotel was better than I expected especially since I travelled about 8 miles more to stay in the Mishawaka Super 8. I originally wanted the Super 8 in Elkhart, Indiana but I tried at least 4 times to call the hotel directly and no one answered the phone. I took that as a bad sign and am glad I decided on the Mishawaka one!
