Great place!
We loved the place. It was cheaper than most others in the area. It was a bit dated, but perfect for what we needed - a place to crash at night! It is a great location on a main road. The mall, other shopping, restaurants, and Notre Dame campus are all very close! We would/will stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great stay!!

Watch for previous smoking rooms...
Our first room was on the first floor and smelled like someone has been smoking in the room although we requested non-smoking. However, we brought the issue up to the attendant and they were able to move us to a room that was much fresher. We also heard another guest complaining about a smoking room. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay, we were just looking for a place to crash for an Notre Dame game and worked great for that. Easy to get to and from the stadium.

The room was dirty - dirty laundry wasw left in the bureau drawer; the toilet was filthy; the shower attachment was falling off the wall; there were hairs in the bathtub; the kitchen counter was dirty.I complained to the day clerk and the housekeeper. That evening, the same dirt remained. The next morning, at checkout, I spke to the clerk again, who stated she spoke with the housekeeper. The manager agreed to give me a partial refund. [...]

Stay but "BYOB"-Bring your own BLEACH
The room was not very clean and there was a very bad odor. I asked the attendant for some cleaning supplies, felt like I was back at home. The tub was REALLY dirty! It took me half an hour to scrub it clean. The staff was very friendly and it was quiet. It's close to food and stores.

great location near Notre Dame
Just stayed overnight for a triathlon in Benton Harbor.. Was farther thn I expected at 43 miles but a great location near Notre Dame for those interested. Lot of restaurants in walking distance... Can't beat the price.
