Extended Stay America - South Bend - Mishawaka - North

Attended the Notre Dame/Utah game. When we asked to print our boarding passes, they told us to go somewhere else. If you need shampoo, you were to ask for it. But when we did, they were all out. We were in a non-smoking room and smelled like smoke. It doesn't make sense to put a non-smoking room on the top floor since smoke rises!!!

Great Hotel, Great Staff, Very Clean

Very neat setting, offers flexible facilities with kitchen for those who wish to dine in/have special diets. Found special vegetable juice in the vending machine that was spiced. good stuff for my liquid fast while on this business trip.

Everything was nice,however it would have been more enjoyable if there would have been an indoor pool.

I was taking my daughter to the University of Notre Dame. The hotels in the area raise their rates to the max and most were sold out. Here I find myself at ESA Mishawaka. The first room we were given was NOT non smoking. My daughter is asthmatic, therefore they gave us a different room. You could still smell cigarettes and there were burn holes in the comforters on the bed. There were cigarette burn marks on the bathroom counters. The next day, I removed all bedding and asked for sheets that did not smell like cigarettes. Housekeeping only comes into your room after you check out. But the staff was nice enough, when they had clean sheets, they did bring them up and make the beds. There was a nice refrigerator, little stove top and sink. It turns out all of the rooms smell like smoke because the front desk person said they can't do much about it. Many of the guests stay for weeks and months at a time. I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort.

This hotel was horribly dirty!! We had to move rooms due to the thick cigarette smoke on a non-smoking hallway and room. The next room was not as smokey, but still just as dirty! The bedding had stains on it, and the floor was moist and filthy! My feet were black from walking on it once with no shoes on! I would NEVER recommend this hotel!

Good for the long term. I was only there a few days and would have prefered a "nicer" hotel.

Room wasn't ready when we got there. Room was not clean floor were stained and wet,tile floors were sticky. Was not very happy of the hotel at all!!!!!

The rooms were a pretty good size. Everything was very neat and clean, which is very important for me. The staff was very friendly and explained everything very adequately. There are tons of restaurants and shops around.

The hotel was nice, but when we arrived the person waiting on us was very rude. We were directed to our rooms. My room was not ready so they sent me to a different room that was not clean. So the third time I was sent to a room with 2 double beds instead of one queen size bed. Besides those things, the room was ok & they did let us stay an extra hour after checkout so I could shower after my marathon. And the girl behind the counter was very nice & helpful on Sunday at noon.
