BEST WESTERN PLUS Mishawaka Inn

We were very disappointed in our room! The room was extremely hot!! The room didn't cool down as the staff told us it would. We opened the window(it's early March in Northern Indiana and not weather to have your windows open# itw as that warm in our room. WE would have asked to switch rooms, but it was already 1:00 am and our children were settled and we trusted the staff that our room would cool#our mistake) The air conditioning finally came on when we were getting up at 6:00 AM. The hotel was nicely decorated and the staff was nice and the overal appearance was good, but we were surprised when we took off our socks and they were almost black they were so dirty. Yuck! We were extremely disappointed with the overall experience!

The location, room cleanliness, etc. were all very good. Would recommend, however, they provide different towels and wash clothes. The fibers kept coming off as you used them... wet or dry. Not conducive to wearing contacts!

Became lost getting to the hotel and the hotel clerk guided us there. She was calm and very caring when we arrived. We were appreciative of her. Room was by the elevator and was noisy at times. The room was very clean and pleasant. Would use this hotel again. The breakfast offerings were very good.

We were in town for a wedding at Notre Dame and accidentally booked the "wrong" Hampton Inn. As it turned out we preferred our location to the one where the rest of the wedding guests were booked as there were many more dining and shopping options and it just seemed like a nicer part of town. The only complaint was the pillows, too firm or too soft which led to some restless sleep. Weird issue since the rest of the place was great. If I have reason to return I would definitely stay here again (but ask for better pillows!).

eveyone was real frindley and nice [...] that did the breakfast went above and beyond and was real helpfull.

This Hampton is smaller than previous Hamptons I have stayed but it has a great location. We had first rate service from the front desk and the rooms were small but clean. The pool is small but has a good sized whirlpool. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great!!

Everything was realy great, except for the fact that we did stay 2 nights, and I would have really liked for our room to be tidy and straightened up after our first night there (beds made, sinks cleaned, etc. Towels were just placed at the door. We were gone all day on our second day, so there should have been plenty of time to get this done - there weren't that many people staying there.

We had just left a Notre Dame game where is had poured down rain. We both were soaking wet and freezing. When we entered the foyer we was greeted by friendly staff. They asked us about the game and asked if we wanted a cup of hot coffee to warm us up and the staff had just made homemade cookies. I was every impressed by the attention that my daughter and I was given.
