Just OK

It was further away from the city than we had expected, but an OK value if you are looking for no-frills rooms. Ended up leaving and staying at local casino hotel instead. I was VERY disappointed that [...] didn't have more offerings in this city, since this hotel is surrounded by several others that were much nicer.

Knight's Inn Michigan City

I didn't end up staying at the hotel. The hotel was not safe. There were people living there peaking over home made fences at us watching us as we drove to our room. People walking around cracking open beer cans. An old beat up school bus was the first thing you saw as you pulled up in the driveway. The rooms were dirty. I did not feel safe staying there with my 12 year old daughter at all! [...]

the only good thing and the really bad

The only goods things was the price and the quite location. The room was dirty, the sheets, the floor, the towels. We had to go to walmart buy new towels to be sure they was clean. The man at check in was very nice, but at check out(differnt man) looked like I got him out of bed. Was unfriendly and was not concerned when I told him was not happy with the room being so dirty. We will not be staying at this place again.

Good, Expected

This wasn't a bad hotel, the staff was friendly. My girlfriend complained about the smell from the refrigerator (it was unplugged), but otherwise was a nice place. Nicely located right off I-94.

Fair

The Knights Inn stay was not a good experience. Location of ice machine and coffee in the morning (which was horrible) was quite far from our room. Outside vending machines did not work properly, and there were large dogs in the room next to us. I would not walk out of the room without my husband...whole environment a little scary!!! Guess we got what we paid for huh?

Knights Inn

The Knights Inn in Michigan City is a modest motel, it is clean and is undergoing remodeling. It suited our needs; a clean place to sleep. It's located on Keefer Rd. and 421, there are plenty of restaurants near by,several within walking distance.
