Red Roof Lafayette is just 5 miles from Purdue University?home of the Boilermakers. Come and enjoy all this great campus has to offer. The Subaru Plant and Home Hospital are both less than 10 minutes away from this hotel. Just 3 miles from Tippecanoe Mall, Red Roof Lafayette is located among a row of great restaurants.

Missing the basics

The rooms have been updated with new lights and bathroom sink but missing the basics. Bare bones everything - ketchup-like container of shampoo, travel tissue packet, room phone out of order, no blow dryer and one from the desk only had low speed, couldn't print boarding pass from the desk (no ink in the printer). Whoever owns this place has the help on a bare bones budget.

OK

It was tough to find a good price on rooms because of the football weekend in Lafayette. But ... not a good choice.

Red roof review

There was nothing that I didn't like about the room or the building it was as advertized. Just a simple room no frills. And that just what I wanted I stayed there for the price and the previous reviews. I was pleased with the room, the staff was friendly and the AC worked. No complaints from me. So if your looking for the best value for your buck and to me that means clean, cheap and has a working AC the Red Roofs the ticket.

Good for me

Good location, although the road construction was confusing at first. Lots of places to eat. Walking distance to general stores and restaurants. Not fancy but good go-to hotel.

What a deal

We made a college visit to Purdue University and the location was perfect. Wal-mart was in the back, Olive Garden on the right. Shopping and food was walking distance. We will use them again when we make visits to our college student in the next four years!
