Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette

The hotel appears to be almost new and everything is modern and up to date. The shower is the walk in type (no tub). There is a small bar in the lobby so you can get a drink without leaving the hotel. The hotel is located with most of the other newer hotels on the eastern side of town near I-65 about 15 minute drive from Purdue. The only negative was the shower head which was a low volume type that seemed to provide too little water

We were just in for a short stay, but the staff made it feel like a relaxing retreat. They helped us find great spots to visit in the city and were generally very attentive without being too much. The room was spotless, and the on-sight laundry and other amenities made everything so convenient. It was also nice and quiet. One negative: From what I noticed, it was a bit pricey if you can't find a deal.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel as well as the total ambience upon entering the hotel. The entryway, welcome center area and bar/restaurant were very nice. Also the room layout was very impressive and the bed was extremely comfortable and inviting. We were extremely happy with the weekend stay and would definitely come back again.

The actual hotel ROOM was nice and comfortable as you'd expect. The hotel also had plenty of amenities that I just loved. There were only a couple of problems that I had while there. These problems were the whole hotel was booked with a high school baseball team of boys. They were using all of the amenities ALL of the time we were there. The hotel had 4 computers and the boys were using them 100% of the time. They also used the pool to the point where we could not fit in the pool. And we kept receiving "knocks" on the door and we would answer it and nobody was there. The only other issue was the breakfast. I ordered food in the morning and it was of very poor quality not too mention they messed up my order. Other than that it was nice.

Great hotel! Needed a place to stay for school since the weather was bad. The shower is wonderful!

Came to Lafayette for family reunion. Family members also at two other nearby comparably priced hotels. So I checked out their rooms and facilities as well. Courtyard was by far the most aesthetic. We loved our room. Beautiful modern granite bathroom. Hint of Asian styling throughout. Simple and clean. The only thing I had to concede to my siblings was that their hotels offered free breakfasts and the Courtyard only had a coffee bar. It was a very nice coffee bar. I would pick Courtyard again.

This was jsut a stopping point for us on a trip to cincinnati. The hotel was very nice and everyone trreated us great.

It was wonderful there was a employee there that was wonderful and gave great suggestions on where to eat.......

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was spotless and beautifully decorated,and the staff was most accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and this location! The only slight disadvantage was the lack of any mirror in the bedroom. The bathroom contained a large mirror over the sink and a full length one on the back of the door, but there was no possibility of someone putting on make-up, combing hair, etc. in any place but the bathroom. I mentioned this as I checked out and was told that other similar comments had been received and the purchase and placement of a mirror was being seriously considered.
