Wyndham Indianapolis West

I was greeted promptly on arrival by friendly staff that seemed a little harried due to the busy weekend. As I entered and exited the hotel with luggage and to go to dinner, I had to pass several smokers grouped outside the front doors. This seemed to be an on-going situation at all times, and I felt like I was running the gauntlet each time I entered and exited. Love the smoke free environment inside, but might have made up for it with outside exposure. The rooms were clean, and nicely furnished, and the bedding was very soft, clean and comfortable. These rooms felt high-end. In fact, I have stayed in this hotel before but didn't recognize it until I visited the restaurant/lounge area--which still look like the last time I stayed. The lounge kind of has a Midevil look to it and is dark and out-of-date. The restaurant, where I visited for breakfast (I think this area might be smaller than the normal restaurant) was lighter and brighter, but much of the buffet was empty at 8 a.m. I did enjoy the fresh eggs to order, but the wait staff seemed harried for the number of tables the two ladies were trying to juggle. There was no option to make toast. If the wait staff, food and atmosphere could rise to the level of the guest rooms, this place would be on my "must stay" list.

We got a room directly over the atrium with all the entry level noise and a 24 hour coffee shop right below coming up. Partying in both adjacent rooms apparently were beyond security's ability to control. And the manager just "went away" and wasn't available to handle any of our concerns. Lady STILL blabbering away at 1:35 AM, I ended up screaming out my door that she should stop talking. We wont go back, Im sure they are just fine with that :)

The night staff is great they did everything in there power to help us !!

Could not get a BLT. They would not make Coffe pot was out. Never picked up laundry Key wen out daily even though i booke a week they kept trying to check me out

It was a good hotel. Nothing special. It was clean but it didn't have enough staff working at night for check-in.

We had to make a last minute reservation due to a cancelled flight. The hotel was very close to the airport and had a 24 hour shuttle which was necessary for our very early flight out of IND. Check-in was easy and the room was as expected. It was clean and had all the necessary toiletries we needed as this stay was unexpected. The shuttle bus driver was waiting for us at 3:20 in the morning for the 10 minute drive to the airport. The only downside was that our only food option was the hotel lounge, room service, or delivery since we were without a car. There are really no walkable restaurants in the Executive Drive area, especially since the weather was terrible, and there are no sidewalks to get anywhere. Other than that, our short stay was restful, and we would stay again.

My wife and I had booked a single king bed room. Our paper work said we had a king room reserved. When we arrived were were given a room with 2 small beds. I called and asked the front desk about it. The woman at the front desk said since we booked online we had to take it up with them. She said online reserved a room with 2 small beds, even though our paperwork clearly showed that we had indeed reserved and paid for a king. We were told there were no rooms left to switch out and nothing could be done, even tough we checked in at 2:00. I believe since we reserved our room through online the hotel didn't care about service.

The hotel is nice and clean in general but the bathroom always have issues. This was the second time the tub was blocked.

Booked this hotel due to it's proximity to Lucas Oil Raceway and the ratings given by other users. I wanted a good, reasonably priced hotel, instead of a cheap dive. I was not disappointed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant has a good selection of foodstuffs and the prices were not unreasonable. The staff was excellent. My only complaint: the bathrooms need an exhaust fan! I would definitely stay here again.

Super location to airport. Fast and friendly check-in. Grill Room located in hotel as well as snack bar open 24 hours. We weren't at hotel during dining room hours but heard the buffet was delicious.
