Time Trials at Indy

University Place is a great place to stay! This was our second visit and we plan on coming back again next year. One of the extra benefits is the covered garage area!

Not a peaceful stay

The hotel hosted a party/wedding and placed us on the floor with the party rooms. The people were in and out of their rooms until 4:00 a.m.

Loud Night

My husband and I planned a night away from our three kids only to listen to child running up and down the hallways. We went to bed listening to the kids and wake up to the kids running and playing in the hallway.

BEWARE OF HOLDS ON YOUR CARDS

Paid in full before arrival. Lost first day due to plane problems. Then had $150 hold on my card just for incidentals -- 3-5 days. I was there Mon-Wed, its now Thursday still no release on my HOLD!!! Come on guys. Other issue--asked for ADA ROOM weeks before was assured no problem, we would have one for my disabled sister-in-law. NO ADA ROOM available with double beds--disappointed. Otherwise was excellent. Great safe location.

Mini Marathon Oasis

My partner and I stayed at this hotel the night before we ran the Mini Marathon in Indianapolis. The location was great, the room was clean and modern and parking was very convenient. When we arrived there was a long line to check in but it moved fairly quickly. The employee who checked us in was obviously stressed about the number of people checking in and he did not ask us any questions like whether we were OK with a room with two double beds, it we needed to park, etc. But he checked us in quickly and we were able to park and get settled in. Unfortunately we were in a room with a door to the adjoining room and we heard the conversations from the adjacent room late into the night. We woke up feeling very tired but we were glad we did not have to deal with parking and were able to just walk over to the start line with just a room key.

concert

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Easy access to downtown Indianapolis and close to Great Lawn on White River for concerts. Valet parking staff very helpful.

Wrong Hotel!!

We had no experience with this hotel! I wanted a hotel next to the IU Methodist Hospital. When we got to the hospital and realized the problem, I called the hotel and was informed we could not cancel the room, because we booked with a travel company. So we were out $220. Believe me, it will never be again for travel co. or the Hotel. I would understand if they would charge a service fee to cancel, but the total bill!! Ridiculous!!

Good overnight stay for business

This is my 2nd time at this hotel. We go to a conference next door at IUPUI and need a convenient place to stay. This is right across the street, clean and neat and has overnight parking.
