Super 8 Indianapolis

Staff was pleasant Breakfast buffet consisted of stale, pre-packaged convenience store items Not a good value for the price, but one of the two beds was quite comfortable & pillows were good

I booked this room strictly on the basis of its location and price based on where we needed to be the following morning. It provided adequate accomodations based on this. When we checked in the key didn't work to the door. After the second attempt to get one to work the person at the desk let us in the room with a pass key. She told us they would get the door fixed. When we returned we had to go to the desk to again be let in our room. I was then told the door would not be fixed until the next day and that the front desk wss 24 hr. and they would let us in the room when needed. She also thanked us for our understanding. We did leave one more time and when we returned a different person was working the desk. They must have been told of the problem because they quickly let us in our room. Luckily there was a Waffle House next door so 1 person went to get our breakfast to go while the other stayed in the room. I was kind of surprised we weren't offered a different room at the time the problem was discovered, but we didn't complain.

nice and quiet located next to some nice restaurants. rooms clean and a good stay for the price.

I am in the middle of moving and my home is a terrible mess and part of it at another house. The AC is off and it's just unpleasant to be there. I went to the motel to have a 'Spa Night'; to get away from the mess, soak in the tub, shave my legs, paint my nails, etc. etc. AND to watch my favorite TV programs while in mid-move. I didn't choose an expensive one, because I wasn't even going to spend the entire night... just wanted a comfortable place to take a bath. I found the tub to have some sort of covering that was 'cracking' and if you ran your fingers across it, there were sharp places that would break off. That ended my wanting to sit in the tub. The shower went fine. But when I settled in to watch my programs, there were were only a few channels available. Although ALL were listed in the motel's manuel... I could not get anything over channel #17! That was VERY disappointing. The owners must live above the room I had, as there was a tremendous about of noise coming through my ceiling until about 1am. Certainly not good for a decent sleep. All in all, I would not say that this motel came up to standard people expect in ANY cheaper motel.

We normally wouldn't stop in Indy for a Hotel. We had to go to Bloomington Indiana for a follow up Dr. appointment at MPRI. We usually stay down there. However, I have family in Indy and they were having a birthday party so after my appointment we made the 1 hour track back up to Inday. It's on our way home to Chicago.

We only stayed for the night. Had to park in dark back parking lot, room cold, crack under door, paint chipping off walls, nothing on walls, small doorways, worker spoke choppy engilish, tried to charge me on a prepaid reservation on check in and check out. Totally disapointed. Nothing like a Super 8 that I have experienced in the past !

staff was friendly, rooms were outdated.

Hard to find, is located behind another business and has a small sign. Staff was rude, and put me on second floor with no elevator despite my request to be on the first floor due to being disabled. Lobby smelled of urine.

The hotel was older and needed some repairs.I was in town for the races and did not spend much time in the room.

I will never return to the hotel. The staff was very unfriendly. They didnt act like they even cared if you was staying there or not. The grounds where very mesy, The rooms was dirty expesialy the bathroom. The lights in the room was dim or burnt out. The didnt care to even tell me the location of my room they just handed me they key and said here you go.
