good Indy airport motel

Stay was a single overnight before a very early flight from airport. Airport shuttle service was excellent and drivers were ... courteous. The only little glitch was the absence of even a small bar of hand/bath soap in the bathroom. Otherwise, this motel is a great option for Indy airport travelers.

It is a good deal for the budget traveler. The worst thing that happened is that the hotel supply delivery was late and the ... rooms were low on toilet paper, soap, and toiletries on the first day. The staff tried to rectify this by running out and buying Ivory soap from local stores. By the second day everything was fine. The maids were very apologetic and helpful (it wasn't their fault). The workers dress far too casually for professional appearance, but are much more competent than they appear. The claim that they serve a breakfast buffet is an exaggeration. It's little more than a continental breakfast with a soft boiled egg and cold cereal thrown in (it can't compare with the Best Western breakfast buffet).

I reserved a room at this hotel because my boyfriend came in late on a flight at the Indy Airport. The airport shuttle only ... ran from 7-midnight and it was a shame because i was unable to use the service being that my boyfriend landed at 11:40pm. I was disappointed because it was one of the main reasons i booked with them, thinking i wouldnt have to go thru the hassel of driving to the airport. The hotel also listed that it was only 2 miles away from the airport but it ended up being farther away. The room was clean and since we only stayed one night, im not too sure about their services.

We specifically chose this hotel because it was close to the Indianapolis airport and offered a free shuttle to/from it since ... my husband had an early flight. We were slightly skeptical because of it's very low price but opted to try it because of it's favorable reviews from other users. We were not disappointed! We got a corner room which was HUGE with a sofa, chair and desk. Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good selection. Would definitely stay here again if we are traveling in that area.

I booked a room with a ... king size bed, and was surprised when I saw the 2 Queen beds instead of a King and a sleeper sofa. After along day, I would rather sit on a sofa instead of the foot of a bed. First night there was followed by the housekeeping crew totally missed cleaning the room, or refilling the towels and coffee packets. A quick call to the front desk took care of the towels and coffee, however I did have to ask the fellow who delivered the towels to make another trip for java. It was done quickly and with a smile. I would stay again but will remind the front desk of previous situation at check in.

Room was spacious, hot breakfast included a nice plus. They were out of cribs and it took me insisting, but they did borrow ... one from a nearby hotel. Their airport shuttle driver was out sick, but they were happy to call and pay for a cab. The shower was a bit moldy and the towels were wet in my sister's room. For a good price on a basic room near the airport, it's fine.

The hotel was out of soap for the first two days of my three day stay-out of soap? That was a first. I spilled some water ... and grabbed a towel to wipe it up. The towel was black when I was done. You really need to clean the carpets once in a while.

All in all it was a good 4 night stay. Front desk was great. Small billing issues having booked 2 days online and added 2 ... days when arrived. I easily was able to relax and enjoy some free time. I would definitely stay here again. My biggest complaint would be the taste of the water. It tasted like it came straight from a stale pool.

Place to relax after long day traveling

We were unable to enjoy too much of what the hotel had to offer. We had spent the whole day traveling and did not arrive ... until very late and then we were off to visit a local museum very early. The hotel was close to the airport and easy to get into and out of. It was great for our needs.

Quick visit for Funeral

We had to travel to Indianapolis on short notice for a funeral (wife's sister) so we made arrangements as best we could. We ... chose Ramada based on past experience (normally clean and quality stay) and because there were some very favorable ratings from other travelers. The hotel clerk was so busy she hardly had the time for common courtesy (politeness and a little eye contact with customer). The room had a musty odor and the bathtub was so badly stained that you could not take a comfortable shower - not to mention sitting for a bath - I notified the clerk and she bluntly stated that she could move me to another room. We tried two (2) other rooms and had to give up. We needed a good nights sleep (funeral was the next day)after flying from Phoenix, AZ. to Indiana. We gave up and went across the street and stayed at a Courtyard Marriott. It was clean and comfortable - all we needed for a good nights rest. Unfortunately, we purchased a package deal - ticket, hotel and rental car - so we had to pay extra for the trip. Ronell Wilborn Gilbert, AZ
