Historic hotel located next to Union Station near downtown Indianapolis
With a rich history and modern amenities, the Omni Severin Hotel remains a top choice for luxury accommodation in Indianapolis. The hotel -- then called the Grand Hotel of Indianapolis -- opened in 1913 to serve train passengers entering town at Union Station. Today, some of the hotel's original features -- such as the ballroom's crystal chandelier and marble staircase -- are still in use. The hotel also connects to Circle Centre and the Indiana Convention Center by covered skywalk, making much of downtown easily accessible.

One Night Getaway
Stayed one night for a graduation celebration. Room was comfortable, minibar was well stocked, and it's right across the street from my favorite downtown bar Ike and Jonsey's.

Great location!
The hotel and lobby are very nice and convenient to allthe downtown action. A king sized bed was reserved but when arrived, the prepaid reservation was only good for two doubles. Not what was intended from a weekend away with my wife. eventually we were given an accessible king room. Otherwise, the hotel was a good experience.

Downtown gathering
Staff very helpful and friendly. Little expensive but walking distance to anything you want to do. Sunday brunch very good.

My Stay
I have stayed at the Omni multiple times with friends, and this time was the worst. The room wasn't that clean and there was blood stains on both beds. I was very disappointed.

indy stay to watch 1st colts win
all things being said, spending the $156 was a decent value. the room was clean the place and not a bad size. being from illinois, i wasn't used to the indoor smoking and the lobby did smell from the smoke of the adjacent bar as well from the olive martini bar. i did valet our car for $27 and expected to be able to leave from the game, get the car and go but 10s of people use the valet here so be ready to wait a while.

Indy's 3rd nicest hotel
A renovated gem with modern features like a flat screen TV, the main drawback was a small bathroom. The staff was amazing. The location was great, across the street from the downtown mall and within 3 blocks of all the downtown bars and restaurants. On busy weekends (or any weekends), try Mass Ave's bars and restaurants.

great big ten chanpionship football weekend
we stayed for the big ten football championship weekend. the staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was wonderful, great rooms, clean and top notch in all ways. great location to the downtown, convention center, stadiun and to all the clubs, bars and restruants. will stay again next time in indy

Great downtown Indianapolis location
Friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent service. Fantastic location. Very tiny bathroom in our particular room and no comfy chair to sit in. Valet parking only, so count on an extra $30 a night. Overall, it was a great hotel and we would return there in the future.
