staff very nice and helpful could use new carpet for better appearance

The location is great. It is just off the main highway. However, the hotel was nothing like the picture. What they called a suite, was actually 1 room divided by a counter. The hotel was very unkempt and the carpet needed cleaning. The area where the continental breakfast was to be served was unclean. The continental breakfast consisted literally of 4 muffins, 5 doughnuts, a container of milk, and juice. It was so unkempt, I refused to eat there. This definitely was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was well, full of bugs, some dead on the floor, some alive and crawling on the bed. No soap or shampoo in the room. The shower faucet fell off during use. The towels had stains and holes in them. The location is nice, had to run the a/c fan all night due to highway noise. The "breakfast" consisted of a few bagels and a few muffins, 4 bananas. We would have changed hotels, but we were in town for the Indy 500. All others were full, we checked.

The staff was very friendly but the room left alot to be desired. The furnishings were plain, the linens were all very low quality. There was no shampoo etc. and only very samll bars of soap. At best after 10 minutes we got only warm water.

I would not stay here again. Rooms were not clean. Floor had not been swept. I found two spiders and either a water bug or roach in the bathroom. Not much of a breakfast bar and that area was not clean either. Air conditioner in room didn't work properly. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly, but had only worked there a few days and was having difficulties running the computer etc.

Lobby was not air conditioned, which was a poor welcome. There was a complimentary breakfast, but I was afraid to eat it. It just didn't seem to clean. The carpet was stained and worn and wrinkled. The a/c would not stay on for more than 1 minute. Some staff was friendly, some was indifferent. Absolutely no frills, shampoo, hairdryer, iron..which you would not expect for the price. At least the TV worked. But the stool was slow to flush, like 2 or 3 flushes to just flush paper. Oh, and it seemed noone knew how to work the computer. It took a long time to check in and out.

Carpetting in room was badly stained. Needed shampooing or replacement.

We went to a concert at Verizion Wireless Muusic Center and didn't want to drive all of the way back to Terre Haute. (Home) Their were some burns on the bathroom counter and it wasn't as clean as some of the hotels I've stayed but for just a place to sleep it was perfect!! Also really liked that thay had a nice little window seat for reading or just watching trafic go by. The free breakfast was prewrapped Bagels and muffins and instant coffee, but for the price we were glad to have even that :)
