Knights Inn Indianapolis Airport South

The room were disgusting. There was brown stains on the bed comforter were supposed to sleep on. That's right, BIG brown stains! Plaster was coming off the walls. The carpet was musty and sticky. The sinks and toilets were stained. Honestly, how someone can think that they can actually take peoples money for this is unbelievable. We left after moving to a second room with the same problems. Then we had to dispute the charges with our credit card company.

Picked this hotel for price at $100 a night for 2 nights race weekend. OMG,, what a dump. Peeling paint and plaster,, dirty windows and right next to the Flying J truckstop. My wife wouldn;t get out of the car. I asked for a refund,, nope they would not do it. [...],, you should pull this motel as it reflects badly on you. We ended up at a really nice La Quinta right down the street for the same price.

Plenty of towels,bed was clean and comfortable but there were some problems with this room.moulding around the bathroom door looked like something had chewed away at it and there were "suspicious"brown marks on the bathroom wall.It was close to the Speedway.

This by far had to be the absolute worst room I've ever stayed in. This makes a motel 6 look like a 5 star hotel.

Outside is the typical dated for this hotel chain but the inside was updated and I really couldn't have asked for a better room. Very Pleased.

We will never try a Knights Inn again! The room was dirty. The next morning the dead bolt was jammed and my husband worked for 5 minutes to try and open it. He was ready to break the door down or throw a chair through the window. The windows did not open so there was no way to climb out. After using his sneaker to help push on the dead bolt he finally got it open. The friends that were with us in the next room had the same problem with the dead bolt so it was not just our room. If there had been a fire in the middle of the night it would have been all over for us.

Upon check-in, we could not locate the remote for the TV. When we searched the drawers, we found an open, knife that one might purchase as a hunting knife in the drawer. We also found a left over denture soaker on the counter. The room was clean, but very sparce in towels. The check in was confused as there were many dissatisfied customers wanting rooms. Our room was available and fine, but it featured a jacuzzi which did not work. I would not recommend this hotel to families as it was a bit on the edgy-side from a safety standpoint.

Check-in at the Knight's Inn South Indianapolis was smooth. My wife was freaked out by all the moths flying around when we got to the room. The toilet was a little leaky - had to jiggle the handle to stop the constant running when I got in. The rest of the night it would start filling the bowl about every hour. Not the best night's sleep ever but decent for the price. Guess you get what you pay for. We were driving home from western Pennsylvania to California. It's a great stop for travelers on a budget. I'd stay there again. My wife might not though.

Knights Inn Indianapolis Airport South was a good value for the Indy 500 weekend. Convenient access to the airport and the speedway. Phone did not ring loudly enough for my wake-up call to wake me, however. Also, a bottle opener would have been nice. Waffle House next door was convenient for breakfast; but had to drive to the next exit for dinner. Nothing but fast-food outlets in the local area.
