Decline in cleanliness!
Upon arrival, checked the sheets like we always do, found black specs on sheets which led to further inspection of the bed. The bed did not have a mattress pad and the mattress was filthy. The clerk was embarrassed and offered another room, upon inspection one bed had a mattress pad with large yellow stains. At this point we checked out, took an hour to find another room. Did not hear from manager, I called her a week later to hear " I see we did not charge you and I am sorry but your second room was clean,the linen was clean with stains" Have stayed here numerous times and noticed a decline in overall cleanliness. Will not be back. Check your bed!

Not what I Booked
I booked this for my mother and sister who went to Indy for a hospital visit to the ICU in Carmel. When they arrived after a tough day at the hospital, they were told that they would not be given the room I booked, but rather a king-sized bed. They were disappointed not to have the two queens I requested. The room was just OK...nothing special.

I've stayed here several times in the past and will likely do so again. It is a clean, simple facility in a pleasant setting, and rates are among the lowest in this part of Indianapolis. Those wanting a luxury facility with all the amenities won't find it here. Those wanting a reasonably priced, clean facility with friendly staff, a continental breakfast, and free Wifi will appreciate it.

This hotel is located in a very busy area, lots of traffic and no close places to eat. Closes fast food places were 5 miles away when we would have preferred a moderate priced selection of resteraunts. We went there for a medical appt. which was close and easy to get too which was a big plus.

Not bad- Better than expected!
Went during Indy 500 weekend. Staff was friendly at check-in and promised "world class service." Not quite THAT good. Nice little welcome reception, breakfast was fine- but out of coffee??? They got some more fast but was full of grounds- yuck. Room was clean and comfortable. Need new cooling system- had cold air blowing on me all night from window a/c. EXCELLENT quiet location just off interstate. Overall, would stay again- no major cleanliness or bad service issues.

Jameson Inn Indy Carmel
A pleasant, clean, location. Breakfast bar is not elaborate but has a few hot items. Indoor pool and fitness room available. In-room fridge. Staff is helpful. This was my third or fourth stay with no problems. Not a lot of frills, but no disadvantages, and the rates have been reasonable.

2009 Christmas Hunting Trip
Selected based on price and location and most importantly "PETS OK". Stay was only a one night stop and go, midway point for hunting trip to Iowa.

Jameson Inn Carmel
A pleasant, clean, low-cost stay. Breakfast includes biscuits and gravy and a waffle machine in addition to the usual cold pastries. There's a relatively simple fitness room. Staff was very friendly. Not a luxury site, yet fully adequate for most visitors, and at a rate that made it a good value.

A great place to stay!
Our room was perfect, and cleaned daily. They are also conscious of the environment, and offer the option of not having towels and sheets washed daily.
