Unforgetable weekend getaway

While i was there i did shopping for christmas. No nothing was missing this was one of the best trips i have ever been on. ... This was one of the best trips ever if not the best.

The location is Great for downtown entertainment. We went to a Colts game. Walking distance to the game plus restaurants ... and the skywalk to the shopping mall is awesome, especially when it's cold outside. They also had restaurants inside the hotel which was handy. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Took in a Pacer's game (they played horrible), Ate at Claddaghs Irish Pub (Great food), and went to Slippery Noodle for entertainment (fun place). Short walking distance to all.

Okay,but not what we expected

The location is fantastic since everything is within walking distance from the hotel. The staff is incredible, very friendly ... and helpful. The bathroom was in need of updating, tub is small, shower is old, no ventilation so mirror fogged up immediately. The cable TV is the worst setup i've ever seen, no channel preview, when you switched from one channel to another you had to go all the way back to the menu. Movies were $14.99, the same ones we get here for $3.99. It was very noisy, the walls must be paper thin. The breakfast buffet advertised for $14.99 was a joke, hardly any choices and the food was cold. It was an O-K stay but not what we expected for the Hyatt Regency name. Will probably stay elsewhere on our next trip to Indy.

Everything downtown was within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Came in town for the ... Colts/Patriots game, the stadium was just a few blocks away. Great breakfast buffet in the hotel.

We stayed here after a Sunday night Colts game. Very convienent to stadium and restaurants. Easy check in and out. Great ... room. Found out they were offering free pizza at night if you stayed in the hotel, we didn't partake, but thought it was a great idea. Wonderful hotel downtown for the price! Even had a refrigerator in the room - pleasant surprise.

I was attending a convention in downtown Indy for the weekend and the Hyatt was right accross the street from it. The ... downtown spot offered many great restaurants and bars to go for lunch and dinner. Great atmosphere and the people were friendly. It's just a 25 minute cab ride away from the airport. Not too bad. I enjoyed my stay.

We came to Indianapolis for a wedding and chose the Hyatt because it was close to the reception location (Rathskeller ... Restaurant - recommend food and atmosphere). This is a very large hotel located across the street from the capital building. The building connects to a nearby mall and great restaurants via a sky way. The staff were helpful and extremely affable. Unfortunately, the "business center" only offers two computers and the charge is expensive. Other than that one drawback, the rooms were great and we enjoyed our stay. I second the hotel's recommendation to book transport to/from the airport with Carey Limo service... affordable per person charge, friendly, punctual, and a fun treat.

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate my daughter's seventh birthday. Her wish was to be treated like a star and the Hyatt ... Regency made the experience beyond her wildest dreams. We will recommend the Hyatt to all and plan to return very soon.

I saw the Motor GP races which was great! The hotel is located among many resturant, too many to choose and the hotel ... resturants and drinks were PERFECT. The hotel has many different accesses to the outside or you never have to leave the hotel to go to one of the numerous resturants because there is always a way to the resturants through the inside. Going to the mall (with great stores and prices) attatched to the hotel ("Skywalk" a pathway) with a movie theater was the most enjoyable portion of the trip. The ability to shop, drink and eat in one area, with class, was the best.

The room was clean and comfortable. It had coffey and soap. The WIFI connection was too weak and didn't work. The wired ... connection was slow (10 Mb) and costed 9,95 usd for 24 hour. :(

Everything was great except for the ROOM. They gave me a room with handicap access. There was a booster seat on the toilet ... and no ledge on the shower exit, so the bathroom floor was soaked everytime I took a shower. The shower head came up to my shoulder, so I had to kneel down to shampoo my hair I asked to be switched to another room but they said they could'nt.

your room add showed the room having 1 king, 2 double beds, when the room actually had 1 king OR 2 double beds, and you ... accepted a reservation for 4 people for this room. your add was misleading, and the hotel staff person agreed when he read the printout of my reservation. We, meaning myself, my family, and the other adults with us in our group from our church will probably NEVER use orbitz again, and we will tell others why.

Excellent downtown location. Although the lobby was nice, the room was small, and had an old, retro-fitted feel. Wasn't a ... typical Hyatt. Expensive parkiing - comparable to downtown Chicago. LONG waits for elevators, every time. Did not eat at the restaruant onsite - many good choices within walking distance.
