Great hotel for the convention
In town for four days for a convention. This is my fourth time in Indy for conventions, and I prefer the Hyatt to the other spots I've stayed at in the vicinity: Marriott, Westin, and Omni. Clean modern rooms and building. Only thing less than perfect for me: I thought the gym and pool could have been bigger and better. The gym was adequate for me since I used it during off-times, I could imagine it gets a little crowded first thing in the morning. The pool was too small to swim laps, but that's most hotel pools. See the Hilton Chicago for a most impressive gym and pool. Breakfast buffet was solid, as was the Cobb salad and cocktails at the Lounge. Didn't have dinner at either of the restaurants so I can't comment. Would definitely stay here again.

Graduation
It was a half block from the Graduation Center. The atmosphere in the Lobby could not have better. The rooms were great and the beds were very comfortable.

Comfort and convenience
The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis was an ideal location for travelers to the Big Ten Basketball Tournament. From check-in to the last valet parking retrieval, I'd give the hotel very high marks. I thought the service was excellent and the location was ideal for almost any event in Downtown Indy. I would definitely stay there again.

An evening in Indy at holiday time.
Our experience at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis was excellent. We arrived early, but the hotel was able to get us checked in and taken care of immediately. This was a huge plus. Although we did not do much in the hotel as far as restaurants, etc. are concerned, it looked like they had several nice options. The location in Indy was perfect for us. We were going to Conseco for a basketball game, and it was three blocks away.

Beautiful hotel
I felt like royalty when I walked into the hotel. What a beautiful lobby. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the valets to the front desk staff. I enjoyed the bar/restaurant in the lobby, and the location in the city was accessible to just about everything I could imagine.

This was an excellent experience. The hotel was within walking distance of where I was going and everything about the hotel was excellent. The elevator was being repaired so from time to time there was a wait for that.
