Avoid Rm. 110

Avoid room number 110. We got stuck there.....adjacent to lobby and elevator, thus noisy. Room was pretty neat. High ceilings and flares of what used to be incorporated into the design. Good downtown location.

Great Weekend!

It was in a great location. Within walking distance to good food, drinks and fun. The room was very clean and was nicer than expected. The breakfast wasn't too shabby either.

What a great place!!!

This was a great hotel... I have travelled a lot but never felt the need to write a review until today. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, service was great, my room was fabulous (very large, full kitchen, L shaped couch) we felt like we being soiled. Now, in some hotels we go to there is a basic breakfast included, this hotel surpassed that and also gave a complimentary supper time meal too! The food was great, plentiful, and drinks were also offered. The hotel itself is very central, close to the football field, and right by the mall & museums. All in all, this was a great hotel!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Short walk to everything (resturants, the major shopping mall, museums, football & baseball fields). We were in walking distance to everything!

Great hotel, huge rooms

We meet friends for dinner at Harry and Izzy's downtown. The room and hotel was wonderful. The only down fall to our stay was that our windows faced the main street and the noise was loud until the wee hours of the morning. We will definelty stay there again, just maybe a different room.

Great Hotel

We booked this hotel to go to a concert & girl's weekend. This hotel was very clean, roomy, comfortable, in a perfect location and extremely quiet for being in the middle of the city. The location is outstanding. The concert we went to was at Conseco Fieldhouse & it was literally right around the corner. There are multiple bars & restaurants within walking distance, as well and a great mall just to the right & across the street from the hotel. Had a fabulous time & gotta say the shades & blinds kept the room pitch black, great for sleeping in! Only thing is the valet parking is STEEP, $24/day. However, the fact that everything was within walking distance made up for it. Great hotel & will try to book again the next time a room is needed in Indy. I travel quite a bit for work, so I'm a pretty picky traveler, but I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, for fun or work.

HUGE Suite

Four of us traveled to Indianapolis for a conference and chose the Homewood Suites downtown for the value and location. We cannot even begin to tell you how HUGE this room was. The two queen beds, two closets, table, desk, large dresser, two TVs, full-sized refrigerator, and sleeper sofa with chaise did not make a dent in the floor space, which allowed plenty of room for yoga for four. The beverages at the Welcome Home reception Thursday were, indeed, welcome, and the breakfast spread was adequate each day, although the waffle maker was, well, obnoxious. As other reviewers have noted, there was some "dance club" noise from the street on Friday and Saturday nights, but it was no more disturbing than a loud television next door would have been. The view from our twelve-foot windows was disappointing - an industrial-looking cinderblock wall of a building just across a narrow alley. Bummer. The hotel is convenient to restaurants, clubs, a mall with diverse shopping and shoppers, the convention center, sporting venues, and the interstate. Thumbs up.
