Great value and location
Robbie Sep 23, 2009
This hotel is a great value for the money: free breakfast (I had scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, yogurt, ... coffee, fruit.) They also had cereal and omlet made to order. Also a free "Happy Hour." I had three marguaritas, plus they had a cream cheese ball, chips, swiss cheese cubes, dip, salsa and other finger food. It is linked to the SkyMall walkway. The van bus stop to get to/from the airport stops right in front. Check out IndyGo. Trip to airport is $7/$3.50 for seniors. Free USA Today in the a.m. Nice, friendly staff. Bubble elevators with high atrium in hotel lobby. Two-room suite for room. Sitting room with TV and TV in bedroom. View of War Memorial.

NICE HOTEL
Z Sep 21, 2009
Overall, we had a great stay here. The location was absolutely perfect, there is everything you can ask for just around the ... corner. Our suite was huge, and worth the cost per night. The only down-sides were: 1) the elevators in the parking garage did not work, so we had to walk 6 flights of stairs with our luggage. 2) The cost of parking ( $20/night) seemed that it should have been included in the cost of our room. -The pool area was very nice, and clean. -The breakfast in the morning was decent, nothing special here. -Check in/check out was a breeze, I expected more of a hassle.

I was very impressed with my overall stay at the Embassy Suites Downtown Indianapolis and I would definitely stay again. My ... room was comfortable and spacious, the hotel is in the heart of downtown and the cocktail hours and morning breakfast are a great addition that set the Embassy Suites as a great overall hotel when in town for both business and vacation. Pleasant Stay
Kathleen Jun 8, 2008
The Embassy suites was a pleasant get away for the weekend. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The parking situation is a ... little strange and took a few minutes to figure it out but other than that we had a really relaxing, enjoyable time. We didn't get to use the pool or fitness center because there were so many kids at the hotel that the pool was over run with them. That's my only complaint.

There is a Weber Grill restaurant just a short stroll from the hotel. In fact there are advertisements in several areas around the hotel for this particular restaurant. It's very popular and very busy so get there early or call ahead for a reservation.

Good Value
Tara Feb 3, 2008
Our room was oddly configured. The beds were very comfortable, and I liked that the hotel does not automatically change your ... sheets every day unless you request it, for environmental reasons. We had what appeared to be a handicap-accessible room, and the bench in the shower did not look very sturdy. I did not sit on it, but if I did, I was afraid it would pull right out of the wall. Frig and microwave worked. We were only there 2 nights, and it centrally located, comfortable and clean.

My review of Embassy Suites Indianapolis - Downtown
John Dec 4, 2007
I came down to INDY for the Colts game on Sunday and then a business meeting on Monday evening. The embassy was great for ... both events. On Sunday it was raining and the hotel is connected to the RCA dome visa a walkway so no coat was needed and I stayed dry. On Monday my meeting was at the Westin and again I was able to walk inside via the indoor walk way without a coat. Great value for the money
