Complimentary breakfast, evening appetizers and snacks are highlights of the suburban Drury Inn Indianapolis hotel across the street from the Pyramids office complex in northwest Indianapolis. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The happy hour from 5:30-7:00p with a variety of food and a full bar is excellent! However, it is right off of a busy street with no sidewalks. It is hard to get away from the hotel without a vehicle. But overall a nice place to stay when you have to be in Indy for work.

nice and newly remodeled
We stayed at the hotel the night before a relative had surgery. Most of our time was spent at the hospital. We were only there to sleep and to have breakfast. The breakfast was varied and good and the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend the hotel.

Extras, extras!
From the complimentary evening snack time -- read "enough to serve as dinner! -- which was going on when we checked in to the comfortable beds, clean rooms, and awesome free breakfast before we left, this was a great stay. The staff members we met were extremely friendly, eager to help and polite.

If you arrive in time to enjoy the evening free snack time, you may nipot have room for dinner! The night we arrived there were great chicken fingers, nachos, hot dogs, broccoli cheese soup, and baked potatoes with all the trimmings, plus free sodas, three (small) cocktails included per person, and popcorn. The food was tasty, and we didn't have to go out or spend additional money!

Very relaxing and the kids could swim most of the day. The food was great and the popcorn and pop was the bomb. That was the kids highlight of the stay.

Enjoyed our stay.
We stayed overnight at the Drury Inn in Indianapolis on our way to Wisconsin. We found the hotel very comfortable. Although we arrived too late to partake of the evening food, I did take advantage of the popcorn and soda offered through 10 pm. The morning breakfast was fine.

Unexpected surprise
We were expected at check-in and given great information. The suggestions for parking and elevator access were completely accurate. The room itself was nice and cool when we arrived, and we found the furnishings tastefully comfortable. Bed quality was not quite as nice as Four Seasons, but . . . . for well under 1/4 of the Four Seasons price, it was great. We didn't expect evening snacks or hot breakfast when we made the reservation, but found both, and enjoyed them.

Rock Bottom on 86th Street about 3 minutes east of the intersection of Michigan Road and 86th Street was another great find while we were ein Indianapolis. Outside dining was excellent; food was tasty and prices were great. Drinks got thumbs up, too, even from one who had to decide between white wine and Red Ale: who could lose?
