Days Inn Indianapolis East Post Road

When my Daughter and I got there at 1:00pm we checked in and went to our room. My daughter turned on the airconditioner and we freshened up at left. When we returned at 7:00pm the room was still hot. My daughter called the front desk and told them the airconditioner was`nt working the man at the desk asked her what time we checked in she told him at 1:00pm he said you`ve been here six hours and are just now complaining, she told him that we had been out to a funeral and had just returned and that the room was still hot. He came to the room turned the air on and off a few times then said there that should fix the problem. Then has he was leaving he said NO MORE COMPLAIN, NO COMPLAIN and left. We would not recommend that Motel to anyone.

We ordered pizza took it back to our room and left our EMPTY pop cups on the table in the morning they were swarming with ANTS! It was disqusting. The staff was rude and needed a bath.....ugh

The hotel was not managed very well. They would not give a key for the door that would last 5 or 6 hours, and cable was out the last day we were there.

The dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. We booked it for our parents while we were vacationing in Indianapolis for the weekend. The ONLY reason they stayed was because we had pre-paid on line. We took them out the next morning. I wished that I would have taken photos. The walls were dirty, the pillow cases were dirty, the carpets were sickening. There was a hole at the bottom of the door and the room stank. We will NEVER get a room with this hotel in this city again. We ended up at the Jamison(sp) which was Beautiful. That is a place that we would re-visit and reccomend.

This is by far the worst place I have ever been in. The room stank so bad that we had to leave and look for another hotel in the middle of the night. Sheets were dirty, chairs were dirty, the bathroom looked like a public bathroom in a train station. I'm very surprised that Orbitz offers places like that. In Indianapolis for the same $70 we spent here you can sleep in a way better place. DO NOT EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!

The outside of the Hotel looks great... the carpet is older than Adam, and I swear that he walked on it and no-body vacumed it since... The towels were dirty from the last guest and the face towels were black from someone previously who cleaned their shoes and were not replaced. the baseboards were curled and loose, and the carpet didn't even reach the base boards... there were gaps over 3" in width. The remote was one that didn't allow you the choice of entering a channel number so you had to click through the entire selection to get to the station that you wanted to watch. I had the single room under the stairs... I like to call it the cave... in fact I believe a cave would have been quieter, and cleaner. Since I didn't know the area and the People with whom we had to do most of our business were just a 1/4 mile from the motel it was the location... I should say it was easy to find, easy to get too... but I will no longer stay at this facility... There are other hotels in the area that are priced the same and cleaner...

The Hotel staff was very unfriendly, you also list the hotel as 5.3 miles away from the Indanapolis Speedway race track and it was actually 12.5 miles away.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The room I was given appeared to have been remodeled by amateurs. At least I hope no money was exchanged for that hideous job. I had the chain latch on and quickly realized that if I just yanked hard enough, the entire door jamb would come off. Insect life was found in the room as soon as I took off the comforter. The air conditioner was terrible as it was actually cooler outside than inside. But that didn't matter since I couldn't open a window anyway. Poor base board job, particularly in the bathroom where it was visibly improperly installed. The bathroom sink was not even attached properly to the counter. The bathtub was not secured properly. The shower curtain rod was installed as in I hope this doesn't fall down. The room was not ventilated. I felt like the management provided the bare minimum required by Days Inn. Days Inn has standards, and this motel couldn't meet them.

Days Inn Indianapolis,Indiana...FrontDesk personel very poor communication,non smoking room reaped with smoke,white towels(brown in color),carpet too dirty to walk on,sheets dirty and wrinkle. Entire stay very BAD!!!! Definately would NOT recommend!!!!
