horrible experience

1. Was not greeted at all when i first checked in 2. My door wouldn't open did it many times to double check if i did it wrong. leaving the card in longer or shorter (light did not go off). walk all the way down to the lobby with my heavy luggage so the lady could tell me that theres a trick to it by lifting the handle. (didn't think the handle could lift up, and it sounded like someone was in there.) went all the way down tried it no dice, came back. and she finally decided to help me, she walked passed my room, and i was like my room was over here. she's like no its here, i was like oh did i read it wrong? she's like no, i forgot to put another 0 on top of the zero. SHE WROTE MY ROOM DOWN WRONG! (she did not apologize) 3. room smelled funny, which i didn't care since i just turned the fan on, but there was no hot water! The water was barely warm and i left it on running and still nothing 4. woke up to a bed bug on my pillow! went to tell the lady upfront, and someone came to take the bed bug away, and they swapped rooms very disappointed in one of the staff members (came to ask a question but the lady was on her personal phone yelling at someone, not professional at all. (the same lady i dealt with all 5 nights) I can understand how this place can be dirty only charging 35-70$ a night, but i've had the same price but better quality.

Internet comments

It was not a very good hotel at all. The restaurant was closed, the breakfest was put out not sanitary at all. The bowls of cereal was just sitting there. Also the internet said .7 miles to the airport and it was 5 miles. Would not stay there again.

Go someplace else

Bathtub drained very slow Bath towels cheap and not consistant-might get a bath mat instead Air conditioner didn't cool very good Not enough help in restaurant in morning Coffee pot in hall always empty-not enough help Bar/retaurant not open after am continental -sad- not much of a selection Beds okay-rooms semi clean

subpar

The hotel is a lot older than appears, several times throughout the stay when attempting to ask simple questions we were met with less than friendly customer service. We opted to move out of the hotel mid way through our trip.

NOT GOOD, BUILDING FALLING APART

HOTEL WAS VERY HARD TO GET TO, THERE IS NO INDOOR POOL. AS YOU WALK IN THEY ARE ADVERTIZING SPECIALS ON DINNER MENU, BUT DINING ROOM IS CLOSED. CARPORT IS HALF MISSING AS YOU ENTER, TRIED TO MOVE TO A SISTER HOTEL BUT WAS TOLD NO. VERY POOR SERVICE AND STAFF. HOTEL SMELLED OF MILDEW!

Dated but Clean

Booked this hotel because it was close to airport, had a shuttle and a restaurant in house. Got to hotel early - they allowed me an early check in (a definite plus for a tired traveler) ... Room was dated but very clean and comfortable. Felt safe...another plus. Got non-smoking room.... definitely was non-smoking..however the hallways DID smell of smoke...but fortunately...my room did not (so that was another plus)... One big negative was that hotel advertised a in-house restaurant open seven days a week...not so... closed...so that was negative. The free breakfast was minimal continental..but still did in a pinch. Let's face it when you are paying less than $70 a night..you are not expecting the Ritz Carlton and for the dollars spend... I was good with it... I think what made the positives outweigh the negatives is that the front desk person - [...]- absolutely did everything to help me... early check in , late check out.. getting me an ironing board and iron, etc...She was fabulous... very attentive to her clients..so even though the hotel was very dated ... it was clean, safe and had a very nice front desk attendant.. I would stay again for the dollars spent...

Make sure that you find out if the in-hotel restaurant is open before you use this as a criteria...the restaurant was closed for my stay...even though it was advertised as open 7 days a week...definitely unhappy about that...

okay, lobby smelled

The place wasn't bad, outdated for sure though. The bed could be replaced, it seemed every spring in the mattress was felt when laying down. For the price it worked though. Reading other reviews it was known what to expect, but needed a hotel last minute for not a lot of money.

place needs total renovation

Price was cheap, but you get what you pay for. I would not have given any stars for this review, but i had to choose at least one. The first thing we saw was the awning in terrible condition. The place has a funny odor when you walk in. You can tell something is wrong, but not sure at first. Things looked similar to pictures, but the carpet needed replaced, some doors had no handles, it was kind of dingy. We got to our room and after about 2 minutes we knew we didn't want to stay. The place was kinda run-down. The beds were hard and you could feel the springs. There was only one real pillow on one of the beds and a bunch of half-pillows. Furniture looked like it could use replacing. There was some kind of food at the bottom of the night stand. We decided to leave because it wasn't the kind of place you'd want to stay. Plus we were afraid we might see bugs a little later. My allergies started acting up also, so you know the air wasn't clean. We could not get a refund from the hotel or [...]. I was so disgusted, we just went home instead of staying anywhere. I probably won't go to another days inn [...]
