Modern accommodation in the heart of Indianapolis

The Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis at the Capitol is conveniently located for those on business, being close to the Indiana Convention Center.  Meeting facilities are available at the hotel, but guests who prefer not to work can relax in the pool, explore the local area and see the attractions.  Services offered by the hotel include daily housekeeping and a laundry service.  Free newspapers and Internet access are available to all guests.

Cost of Room Not Worth It

Finding the hotel was relatively easy and it was located in downtown Indianapolis. Although newly renovated, the carpet, wall paper, some of the furniture etc. The room was small yet the bed was comfortable. The sink did not drain properly yuck! Water remained in sink for more than fifteen minutes. Our room key did not work nor did the parking key as a matter of fact when we returned from our event at midnight; it was not a good feeling knowing people were honking their horns at us; $17.00 per night parking fee. We were right next to the elevator - it was quiet but we could hear the floor squeaking/creaking every time the person in the room above us walked. The age old ice machine complaint is real. That darn thing is loud! The employees were helpful and friendly but the cost of the stay was not worth it.

Downtown Indianapolis was under construction:-( The circle was being renovated and most of the streets were being worked on. Try to find a location closer to the Canal area and park.

Sleepless in Indy

I had 2 sleepless nights due to a heater that kept going on and off every couple of minutes. It would then go on for about 30 min. and then start all over again. I was exhausted. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable, the free internet worked and they did comp my parking due to my discomfort. However that did not come close to the cost of the room and lack of sleep.

Good hotel but charges $17/day parking

The hotel was clean and was in a very convenient location. I was not happy that I was charged $17 per day to park my car. There was no lamp near the setting chair. The cleaning crew removed a banana I left in the room. I eat one at night before going to bed for the potassium content. It helps avoid leg cramps. Other than that, the room was clean and the desk staff very attentive.

Clean, Comfortable, Great Location

We were in town for a night for the Brickyard Race. The hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants, bars & shopping. Friendly staff, clean rooms. The only things I did not like were that parking was not included in the room rate (additional $17 per day) and the pillows were feather pillows which for most people is not a problem but I am allergic. Overall, great place, I would definitely stay here again for business or personal!!!

Clean,GoodBreakfastBuffet,Friendly staff

Basic room No frills but clean and comfortable.Close to Canal Walk. Good breakfast buffet worth the extra charge with reservation. Friendly staff.

Close to Canal Walk and can easily walk down to White River Park and multiple museums. Short walk to many restaaurants and large downtown mall.

Excellent Visit
