Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis- Carmel

The one staff I had interaction with did not care to help me.

I stayed @ this hotel during the terrible heat wave (105 degrees each day) in IN. for 2 nights. The room was immaculate, the staff was kind & helpful. It had everything I was interested in for my stay. The hallways & elevator were quite warm, but, the room was as cool as I wanted it. I would rather the hotel cut back on the hallways & elevators A/C so the guests were able to adjust their rooms as they needed them. One thing that could have been an issue was that the walls were far from sound proof. I was fortunate to have quiet neighbors. Overall, it was a very good stay, just a little pricey, especially considering no food was included in the price.

I paid up front and the front desk clerk sd my room was taken due to the fact I didn't call before 4pm. I inform the clerk my plane didn't land until after 7pm. He stated let him she if he could find me anything but he don't think so. The clerk had me waiting for about 20 minutes,I was very tried and I didn't like the room he gave me or his attitude.

I was surprised at how full the hotel was and yet how quiet it seemed to be...something I really appreciated. Thing is, I'm sure 95% of the guests were business people so they weren't there to throw parties like they were on vacation. Lobby was sleek and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, professional. Nice little cafe in the lobby area made it convenient to grab a hot breakfast before heading to work. My room was immaculate.

Good, except hotel needs additional exterior lighting.

Walls were paper-thin. I could hear the person in the next room snoring, and then when they woke up, it woke me up, and I could hear every detail and every word that was spoken in that room. The only thing that I can say was good was a friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, and only a few minutes from my son's school, whom I was visiting for mother's day.

The shower is great, the noise level was good, but it was too warm in the room. My husband tried to turn the heat down but everytime he did it would kick in again and take it up to 72 degrees, which for such a small room is way too warm. We both had trouble sleeping because of the heat.

I had to attend a class on Saturday so my family was left to their own devices. Unfortunately for them we did not do any research on activities in or around the area so they didn't do much until I was done with my class. We went out to dinner and went swimming which the kids enjoyed very much. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room and a complimentary breakfast. Otherwise the experience was good overall.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Nice resturants nearby.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to a concert were were attending that bypassed all the rush hour traffic. They even ordered us a pizza for us after the concert. We did have a couple issues though. Our air conditioner leaked while we were gone and soaked our room's carpet. We also thought the breakfast was a free continental breakfast but were surprised by a $10.75 bill per person at the very end of our breakfast.
