Caribbean Cove Hotel and Waterpark

We thought we were booking a nice place to spend the weekend in Indy, we couldn't have been more wrong. For $186.50 you would think you would be in a nice room, but I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Here is a list of the things that were terrible.. -Kids up all night having races in hall. -Called security 4 times and nothing was done. -The 90's model tv had a picture so bad that you couldn't make out the numbers on the screen. -The blackout curtain in our room looked like swiss cheese. There was so many holes in it there was no point in even closing them. (picture enclosed) -I had to ask 3 times for a crib. When they did bring it, it was just a plastic mattress in the bed with not even a sheet on it! When we called back to ask for a sheet for it they sent up a king size comforter. So our baby just slept with us. -The water in the water park was so cold that my daughters lips were blue and she was shaking. -We got in the hot tub, and it had so much chlorine in it that it was burning our nose, eyes and throat so bad that we just left. -They tell you not to bring the towels from your room, and there was none to be found at the water park or pool. We had to walk back to our room cold and wet! -I also did not appreciate all the very inappropriate rap music the the staff was blasting at the pool and water park. My kids do not need to hear the garbage that was in that music!! -I would have probably gotten a better nights sleep in my car! -When i told manager about my problems, she offered us free breakfast. It was 11:15 and we were checking out, thanks a lot! Do not waste your money. It was a total disappointment!!

This place is DISGUSTING!! BROWN water and I'm not exaggerating! The entire pool area smells like urine... not even the slightest hint of chlorine. Half of the lockers don't work and you have to insert more quarters every time you want to open the locker. I'm AMAZED the board of health has not shut this place down yet. The metal support brackets that hold up the huge, heavy slides etc. are HEAVILY rusted... water leaking from everything and we pay $40 for this... absolutely disgusting and that's an understatement! STAY AWAY, stay far away! Just got home and had to right a review... now getting in the shower, which will hopefully get rid of the urine smell that I brought home with me.

I was a little disappointed that the water park was closed. Plus I found out that my hotel stay would have not included the water park pricing even if it wasn't closed. But the staff was great my kids just played around in the hotel indoor pool. There were plenty of store/restaurants close by.

The room door did not lock reliably. When we returned to the room at midnight nearly one third of the carpet was soaked. The phone did not work. The "rollaway" was nothing more than an air mattress. To the hotel's credit, they did move us to a different, and better room. However, in that room the A/C did not work and the smoke detector was not functional. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Save your money go somewhere else! Absolutely NOT worth the money!!!! [...]

We booked through [...], got there and they told us that the water park wasn't included so I had to bust out my laptop and show them what I'd paid for in order to get our wristbands for water park access. If the water park hadn't been included there is no way that I would've paid that much for that room alone. The rooms were not nice, tv was very old didn't even have rca jacks. Poop stain on the toilet, it was awful! The water park was nice and the only good thing about the place!

After a very stormy and rainy day in Indy, we found our hotel to be a very sunny part of our day! The waterpark was clean and well organized. Our room was very nice and clean and we felt welcomed there. We enjoyed a good breakfast before heading to the children's museum. Checkout was sooo easy. I told everyone what a great value this was!!

The only problem I had, which was fixed but others should be aware. When I checked in they told me that because I booked the room through Orbitz that it didn't include the water park, which that was the only reason we went there. I told them that about 1 1/2 months ago I booked the exact same thing and that no one said anything about it then. They finally said that this time they would let me go ahead and have it but next time book it through them. The website never said anything about that and that would cost more money. Other than that everything was perfect. Just be sure you check it out first.

Hotel was not far from race track, close to restaurants,and great for kids.

We were at this hotel on Halloween. I took a group of girls and they had a blast. The water park was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis.
