Traveling groom to be.
It's nice. Not three stars nice though.
Arrived to find the hotel booked to limits, meaning my reservation did not confirm I'd get the room I wanted (king, non smoking.) ... The beds in the room were stiff, with springs jutting into my back pretty much all night. The complimentary breakfast bar was on par, at least.... and oped until 10:30, allowing us to sleep in a bit before grabbing the free bite to eat. The whole hotel, I must say though, smelled of cigarettes. Staff was as courteous as they could be be... Ultimately, it's a chain place that is comparable to just about any other chain. Nothing really stands out. Standard TV with not so many decent stations... and no opportunity to rent anything. In room refrigerator could not cool down a pop, even after being left over night... had to toss it into the tiny freezer. Room was laid out well enough. Quiet, despite being so close to the highway.

A great value, though a bit noisy
My husband and I stopped overnight in at the Jameson Inn while driving from South Carolina to Wisconsin. The hotel has obviously undergone some nice renovations, with new linens, mattresses, furniture, etc. The room was extremely comfortable. The hotel, however, is RIGHT next to the interstate, and we had a room facing it. We could hear quite a bit of road noise throughout our stay. It wasn't overly bothersome, and we were able to sleep, but if someone is sensitive to noise, I would suggest asking for a room not facing the highway.

Indy trip
Very pleasant average hotel. Adequate for brief visit. Hate those bedspreads that slide off the bed. Could have used an egg at breakfast instead of all those ghastly carbs. Reception staff was very responsive and friendly,

"Clean and reasonably priced"
This is the first time I've stayed at a Jameson Inn. The pictures online didn't do it justice. The room was comfortable,up to date, and very clean. To my surprise the room had a refrigerator and microwave that came in very handy for storing and heating up leftovers from dinner. Hotel was next door to a Cracker Barrel and near many other restaurants. We came up for the AMA supercross race at Lucas Oil Field. The hotel is located only 7.7 miles from the stadium. Great location for the price. We will stay there again.

Average property at good price
We booked a five night stay through Orbitz that made flying to our high school reunion a better deal than driving and having six additional days on the road. Among the high points, every staff member that we encountered was very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and had a refer & micro which were relatively new and worked well. The bed was a comfy king. There were some demerits. We were on the second floor (of two) and one wing of the second floor is smoking. The entire second floor hallway reeked of stale cigarettes. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit by it. Pillows were overly hard. The breakfast selection is nothing to brag about. The good news is that at this location there are several motels and so virtually every chain restaurant is nearby. No fine dining was evident. Finally, the property is VERY difficult to locate. One must first find a rather insignificant side street and then must turn into the KFC parking lot to wend your way back to the motel. That would be more readily accomplished in the dark if there was a sigh at the entrance to KFC pointing the way. Bottom line, we would stay there again if the price were right but we would not accept the second floor and would plan to breakfast at the Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans near-by.

Good overall experience. Very friendly staff. Very prompt room service, when we needed extra blankets. Only draw-back, our non-smoking room, (located on the 2nd floor) was across the hall from the "smoking rooms". As soon as you entered the 2nd floor hallway, you could smell the smoke. Our room however smelled fine.

All the comforts of home
The Jameson Inn Indy South was very clean and homey. The room had all the comforts of home with the microwave and refrigerator and a very comfortable king size bed. The complimentary breakfast was very good with Belgian waffles, pastries, and biscuits and gravy. The staff was friendly and very service orientated. Being located next to the Cracker Barrel made it nice for dining. Just minutes from downtown and the nearby shopping mall made it very handy to get around.

Very Nice
We traveled with some special needs (oxygen delivered) and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms were larger than expected and very clean. We had granite counter tops in the bathroom area. The continental breakfast consists of self made Belgian waffles, which were very good and biscuits and gravy, which were ok. The hotel is located next to Cracker Barrel and KFC - all within walking distance from the front entrance. My only real criticism is the comforter was not very warm. Overall, a pleasurable stay with unexpected amenities.
