BEST WESTERN Country Suites

This was an excellent value compared to hotels located In downtown Indianapolis. It is really great to have a suite for a four night stay. The room was well kept by the housekeeping staff. I had two minor complaints--the room freshener was not pleasant, but I prefer no scent to an artificial scent; the covering for the HVAC unit mounted on the ceiling above the kitchenette was filthy.

Hotel was clean, but unfortunately was a smoking room.

When we arrived, they did not have room available. We had pre-paid for our reservations 2 months prior. The man at the reception area was extremely rude!!! The blame was placed on Orbitz (by the man at the hotel). We had to go to another hotel for the first night, then move back to this hotel for the second and third night. When we arrived back at the hotel, there was garbage left from the people who were there prior. (they had obviously had Thai food for dinner).

Not again, the room was missing everything, clock did not work, all the "bathroom stuff' including tp was missing.

When I saw the price, I was not expecting this experience. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a safe, quiet spot without the hoopla! Could be a bit cleaner, but the staff could not be better.

I entered the room the clerk gave me and went into the bedroom where I noticed the bed was messy. At first I thought it was just a wierd way to turn down the bed, then I saw clothes in the closet. It was about 8:30 p.m. and I didn't stick around lng enough to see if anyone was in the restroom!! The next room I got was nice, not really as clean as I like. I had forgotten my shampoo and there was none in the room. I figured housekeeping would leave me some the second day but still none so I had to go ask for a bottle of shampoo. No big deal but sort of irritating. I would not stay here again.

Everything was perfect except there was no pool or hot tub. Other than that it was an exceptional value. I mean $46.?? incl tax for a 3 rm suite. can't beat it!

I was not looking for a Four Star hotel but, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The couch had no cush left in the cushions, the coffee pot was cracked and about the telephone...there was a telephone on the desk BUT it was NOT connected to the wall??? Upon checking out, I asked for a receipt that said I was "paid in full" for my expense report, the rather gruff desk staff told me that I should take it up with Orbitz and went back to reading his paper....

The hotel is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants. It is quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Although obviously an older facillity, every effort has been made to keep it in good repair. During my stay i reacted with 1 housekeeper (very hospitible) and 3 desk clerks. the first clerk was very helpful with my check in. The clerk on duty in the evenings was an extremely personable young man who was always willing to help no matter if the question regarded restaurant choices or computer time. The clerk on duty at check out must have been having a bad day. When i asked for a receipt all he said was "get a receipt from Orbitz." 2 out of 3's not bad.

This hotel was very clean. Staff was kind and attentive, not overbearing. The hotel is located next to Costco and there are lots of restaurants in the area. Easy drive to downtown Indianapolis.
