Low price but we found out why
This hotel was very conveniently located just off the 80/90 toll road and was very easy to find but was quite noisy due to its location next to a busy factory. It was also quite isolated. There was nothing close except a gas station; no restaurant or shopping. We stayed during a trip to the Shipshewana Flea Market but had trouble finding anything else interesting nearby. Postage-stamp sized soap, bring your own if you stay!!!

not sure I would stay
This is my second time staying at thislocation, i always like to give a second chance to hotels. The staff was not too friendly with offering suggestions for dinning or directions for that matter. The room i was in had cigarette burns all over the carpet and even though was a smoking room was not cleaned well. There was loud discussions that could be heard on the second floor and random people walking around. Being alone, and a woman I would not stay here again. TV reception was poor and programs were limited. Very disappointed. And had to ask staff for help with breakfast since a sign was hung on the waffle iron tha the timer did not work, and no nonstick spay available. Waffles were a bust out! left hungry and annoyed!

Night at shipsheanna

Everything was good
We were at the Event Center for the Michiana Driving Horse Auction. The hotel was a short distance drive to the Event Center. The room was very clean. We really appreciated it.

Super 8
Visited Shipshewanna and surrounding areas. A very nice motel that was very clean with all the comforts of home. Price was very reasonable. Will visit there again and recommend it to all.

Nanny of Five!
Top Notch!
We thought the Howe Super 8 was a great value. The place was very clean and the staff friendly. Although we did not get an opportunity to eat breakfast there, it did smell great and the other customers seemed to be enjoying it. Thanks to the staff for a great stay!

Fast Stay
We arrived about midnight and left by ten the next morning so we did not use any extras there only the beds and the bathrooms. Everything was waiting for us and in good condition. We would have no problem staying there again.

The hotel was a short drive from Shipshewana and a much better price then staying there. It rained the whole time that we were there... they have no control over that.
