Fort Wayne Marriott

This is a luxurious hotel, from the linens to the dark wood. I can appreciate the cleanliness of the linens and towels as I work at a hotel and know it can be very difficult to keep these items white. We were impressed by the pool and hot tub also. They kept the temperature at a very comfortable temp.. We were able to dine at the hotel at a very nice restaurant and then enjoyed some time in their night club. It was nice that we didn't have to drive from place to place, it was all right there in the hotel. Staff was very friendly.

Compared to the many hotels I have stayed at the past 3 years, this one is the best, by far.

We simply needed overnight beds and this hotel met that need adequately with clean and comfortable beds. However, I found it to be very expensive for what was not much more than motel accommodations and bathroom ammenities that were in dire need of updating.

Our party required 5 rooms, and the hotel thoughtfully put 4 of them right together, which made things easier for us. A locally beloved candy company had decided to recast its molds and donated many boxes of chocolates to the hotel, which the staff served up on a pretty table in the lobby for one and all. Lobby had quiet seating areas where we could get together with new friends and become better acquainted. During the holiday season, our Internet access was free. And it was hard-wired, so you could use it even without a wireless card. Rooms were pretty and appeared very clean. Housekeeping didn't get around to us until afternoons, which was inconvenient for some of our party. Not for me.

We stayed the night and attended a wedding reception there. The food was excellent, room quiet, beds soft Good location right next to I-69

This was a Very good trip with spouse & found the stay very relaxing. Had room service & did not try evening meal at restaurant which has a great reputation. We will very likely return.

Like all other Marriot hotels, the facility is immaculate and the staff is exceedingly friendly. Like many hotels the airconditioning system, even when set to 60 degress did nothing better than get the room to 73 degrees (as read on my cell phone). I did not sleep well because the room was so warm. For those who like to sleep in a cool room, I would not recommed the hotel.
