BEST WESTERN Luxbury Inn Fort Wayne

We only stayed one night for my best friends graduation from Ivy Tech. The staff was friendly and quick. The room was clean and nicely decorated. As usual, there are never enough towels to start, but more were brought quickly...a bit on the rough side, but ok. The 52" tv was nice and allowed both my Grandma and I to watch comfortably from the bed. There were two hard-backed chairs and a small'ish easy chair that was pretty comfortable for my 5'7" frame due to it's footstool. The queen beds each came with 4 pillows. The bath is small but adequate. There was good pressure and spray in the shower. Two showers back to back and warm water still left. The free soaps are tiny but did the job. The shampoo was too small to even attempt on my long hair. The lobby was pretty small but they did offer free popcorn and cookies (they didn't last long). The vending machines were nicely stocked and not overprised. Free wifi was nice and they had a computer in an alcove that guests could use. There was a weight room, but we didn't use it. Included was a free breakfast but it was the most disappointing part of the stay: Dry eggs, sausage links that tasted odd, and waffle mix from a huge container that came out tough when cooked. The ceral was fine as was the packaged mini-donuts. The coffee was a bit strong but Grandma liked it.

Loved, loved this place, even our grandchildren loved it better than the recent stay at the Hampton. Looks like this will our favorite spot when we meet in Fort Wayne., Eating spots so close by. Comfy queen beds, micro & mini fridge in the room plus a nice plush recliner. Something Hampton didn't have. Popcorn/ ice water/ice sweet tea/cookies all free in the lobby,huge hit for the kids, ok us too. Thank you so much. Loved our stay at Best Western.

We chose this hotel for the free airport shuttle, but when our flight was delayed we had to take a cab because the shuttle had stopped running for the night. It did not say on the website that they need 12 hour notice for the shuttle to run, but that was their claim when we checked in. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. It was kind of expensive for what we got though.

Good management with nice people. Area very good and safe, with resturants and movie theater nearby. Near express way but did not hear loud traffic.

We came for a women's conference. The only negative was that we had to ask each night for more towels even though they new we had 4 in each room

I was immediately greeted by [...](General Mgr) as I came into the lobby. We talked for a good amount of time about business, the economy, etc. He was very attentive and when I came back into the lobby with all my luggage, he stopped me to change my room to the first floor so I wouldn't have to carry it far. He hasn't owned the property that long, but has done an unbelievable job cleaning it up. It was spotless. Updates will be needed at some point, but he had done a wonderful job in the short time he has been running the place. I was there on business, the hotel was pretty close to some decent restaurants, and there is a great Applebee's bar almost within walking distance. I was extremely pleased with my stay and will stay there again!

The hotel staff was very friendly, and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good.

I love the location. I have stayed here before. This time the rooms seemed dated and the linens weren't up to my standard--in fact, they made me a tad nervous. The common areas are good and very clean. It was just the room-lighting was also terrible. I didn't have enough in room lighting to read or do work that I had brought with me.
