High School Friends Birthday Celebration
I was pleasantly surprised as this was my first visit to Belterra! Gracious staff upgraded room at check-in. All staff very friendly. Room was beautiful. Buffet was excellent-especially the cooked to order fresh fish! The facility has an awesome ventilation system as I was shocked to see people in lobby and public areas smoking-but to my smoke-allergy relief, it was a non-issue. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Belterra!

Near Indy
Better Than Many Reviews
My wife and I stayed here overnight last Saturday for a weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the condition and cleanliness of the rooms, the attitude of all staff and employees and the overall appearance of the Belterra complex. I will definitely return and would recommend to my friends and family. The staff was obviously well-trained and catered to our every need. We ate dinner at the Aquarium and breakfast at the Buffet and both were very good.

Overall nice hotel and Casino
Room was nice and big and overall clean. However, we requested a non smoking room and the room smiled like it definitely had smokers in the room at some point. At about 11:00 pm we kept hearing this very loud noise about every 5-10 minutes that kept us awake for over an hour. Can't say what this noise was as it seemed too loud to be doors shuting. It was bad. I would recommend this hotel based on price and layout but would warn them about the noise.

Love the stay!

Save the trip
We thought we would enjoy a relaxing few days at the casino, but the staff is very unfriendly.....almost to the point of being annoyed by your bothering them. The slots in the casino are very boring and seem quite older. The comps they offer are pitiful. Don't expect much back for a lot of playing. The hotel is nice and quiet and the rooms are large. Also, the golf course looks very nice. There are better options if you are looking for gaming fun and good comps, I would try another casino.

Jeff Ruby's is a very nice restaurant, but it is in the upper end of price. Try the buffet if you want good food but don't want to spend $60 a person.

We enjoyed the room, the buffet was fabulous, the slot machines weren't very welcoming, we weren't big winners.

Belterra Casino Resort
Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the welcome from the reception desk. The experience at the casino and the spa was the best. I was not too impressed with the dining. The food at the buffet would have been great if it was kept warm. My steak at the steakhouse was bloody when I requested med-well and when i sent it back it was burnt on the outside and still bloody on the inside. My room was a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor but apparently someone in one of the neighboring rooms did not know so the only relief from smoking was to go outside. Room Service offered to spray but there efforts was pointless since the smoking continued. Also, I think refrigerators should be present in every room.

Nightlife tip:
In Hotel
Aquarium was the best nightlife entertainment outside of the Casino. It was great for a late night snack, music entertainment, and a night cap (drink).
