Great Getaway!!!!
Le Merigot was a great weekend getwaway. My husband and I did a whole lot of nothing and just relaxed in this amazing room by the water. The casino is a little dated but the food in near by casino restaurants were pretty good. We took in a live band at the Hoosier Loung after losing our money at the casino one evening but its a nice hotel for the price. We will definitely come back.

We arrived early before check-in time, but the front desk accommodated us immediately. Valet and baggage service was immediately available if we wanted it, but we passed. The room was large, clean and very nice. This is clearly the best hotel in Evansville. The continental breakfast was good, but nothing special. There is a nice exercise room, but no pool or spa.

not worth it!
This hotel has great potential, but their lack of services is disappointing. Even the tv had only a few channels! Most of all we missed room service. The bar had some food, but a very limited menu.

For food or fun, go down the street to Hotel Aztar. Infact, I suggest you stay there!

LeMerigot an Unexpected Treat
Wonderful option for those wanting to stay at or near the Casino. Lousy payouts at the casino, but the room was quite an unexpected treat. Spacious bathroom with separate water closet and wonderful shower and great amenities. comfortable bed, spacious room with occasional chair and ottoman, desk w/ 2 chairs. Staff was courteous and non intrusive. Recommend checking ahead for casino special. Code MGR got me a room for $89 instead of $109. Although the savigns went right into the sticky fingers of the casino tables and slots. Poor payout.

Zoo is a nice, fun respite from the casino and only 10 min drive from the hotel. Casino has poor payouts.

Very Pleased
There were no robes and slippers as advertised. A pool would have been nice, Evansville is VERY humid in the summer months. Great bed and shower. Added bonus to have a small flat screen tv in the bathroom.

This hotel sits right in the middle of "The District". Great location for night life and the casino. From an Irish pub, biker bar, casino, billiards hall, and the Blush in the hotel has great coctails!
