The Fairfield Inn By Marriott Evansville,IN is conveniently located just minutes from Evansville's City Center, on Evansville's westside. Easily accessible to all points via Lloyd Expressway/Highway 62, just 2 miles from University of Southern Indiana and Mead Johnson Nutritionals. Nice hotel

Overall my experience was fine at the hotel. I was somewhat disappointed with the size of the room by comparison to others I've stayed at with the same request. I would recommend this hotel to others. Staff was courteous and willing to meet any request that would have been made.

Fairfield Inn Evansville West

The only problem was the air conditioning. Our first night, in the middle of the night, the unit started to make loud and obnoxious high pitched noises. The clerk at the front desk offered to give us another room, but we were exhausted. The next morning a new unit was installed, and we slept well the second night, in cool comfort. Great breakfast buffet and good coffee, too. Hotel is very close to USI.

Good location but fair amenities

The walls were paper thin, you could hear conversations in adjoining rooms and water running in between the walls. The business center consists of two computers but only one was working, partially, during our stay. The free breakfast has no hot food items unless you consider microwaving a breakfast sandwich a "hot" breakfast. It is, however, convenient to USI which was the reason for our stay.

Located close to restaurants & shopping.

Continental breakfast was nice to have, but nothing special - the usual waffle maker, micro breakfast sandwiches, bagels, danish, etc. At THESE prices ($99/double), a free hot breakfast would be nice (eggs, bacon, etc, not merely a waffle or micro bkfast sandwich).

LOTS of places to eat very near by, also a movie theater, Walmart, Goodwill, Lowe's. Lots of stuff nearby, which was handy.

great place to stay

I have stayed at sdeveral hotels this year and based on those places I really wasn't expecting much. The Fairfield Inn was 4 stars in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was the cleanest I've ever been in.The price was excellent for what we got. I would recommend this hotel. I plan on staying there whenever I go to visit my daughter . Excellent place to stay
