Chose this hotel on a fast, two-day trip from KC to Fredericksburg, Va. The hotel was right on the exit, and directly across the street from a Cracker Barrel. Other restaurants, and fuel facilities were on the same exit. The room was standard fare
with two double beds, dresser, TV and desk. There was free wi-fi, but we didn't use it. The bathroom was relatively small, but had the nicety of the curved shower curtain rod, with a nice, adjustable massage shower head. There were some signs of mold around the tub caulking, which is always a turnoff for me. Plenty of towels and washcloths, although one of the rolled bath towels was trailing a rather long hair from housekeeping. The included breakfast in the morning was a nice combination of hot breakfast foods, pastries, cereals and breads. It was a plus for me. The room rate of $96 seemed a bit high for a hotel in a remote location, although Louisville is just 25 miles away. The beds were comfortable, although not of the caliber of other chains heavenly beds and such. One oddity was the duvet covers on the beds. Rather than being smooth, they were lumpy, as if the flling in them had shifted around with washings over time. They looked a bit odd.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was excellent. It is best before 9:00, though. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was absolutely clean.
