The hotel was a good value. It was clean and the room/beds were comfortable. Air conditioner kept cycling on/off but wasn't a big deal. Great if you just want a clean bed to sleep in for a night or two when you're visiting or dropping off your student.

College move in base
Location is very convient to IU so it is a good place to stay while you move your son or daughter into the dorm. The location is a little difficult to get out of at certain tims of the day. The room was clean, the bed was hard but was ok for a couple of days. The shower curtain rod needs some attention or it will end up on the floor very soon.

"A" Motel in "B" Town
For the price, this was hard to beat. Indoor pool and located on a main highway close to town. Room was clean and adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, bagels, toast and pastries. We will be staying there again.

Good for overnight near IU
Nice basic motel in convenient location to IU. Room smelled like smoke and needed a better cleaning but in general was OK for an overnight stay. Breakfast was limited in time available and selection but was good and sufficient. Front desk staff were friendly. Pool and hot tub were clean and in good usable condition.

Fine for a night
The room was fairly clean but in need of repair. Wallpaper peeling a bit. Water presure was a bit low in the shower. The breakfast was ok. This hotel was fine for a night but not for an extended stay. There was only one ice/snack machine location in the building.

Conference goer by day, rocker by night
Quiet place to sleep, but nothing more
This hotel provides you with a quiet place to sleep, nothing more. Unless you bar the door, expect to be walked in on by housekeeping before 9 o'clock. If you wake up hungry, don't be fooled by their advertised breakfast. The waffle machine had an out of order sign for the duration of our stay (4 days), and unless you get there at 8 the doughnuts will be gone. When asked about ordering pizza, the receptionist gave me out of date coupons. The bottom line: If you're looking for a place to sleep and get out of early in the morning this is your place. If you're looking for what is advertised here, you're going to be disappointed. I wish I had spent a little more and stayed somewhere else.

Bloomington can be pretty frustrating to find something to do in at night. We found there were a couple live bands at Bishops and at the Crazy Horse on Sundays. I recommend getting one of the Indiana University magazines for a listing of shows that are playing while you're there.

not bad for the price
Service was good the room comfortable and the pool small but good for the grandkids to play in. Staff was friendly and the location convenient. Needs a little updating with some new wall paper etc but for the price a good deal.
