IU Trip

Rennovation efforts of the rooms is sloppy, and it looks like an old room with a 10 minute paint job. The bathroom door wouldn't close right even though the new bath floor tile was attractive, as well as the granite counter around the sink. The two queen beds are better than two full-size, except these beds were worn and had a trough form years of use.

Nice value!

I was out of power at home due to the ice storm, so stayed at the Quality Inn. Nice location (IN-37 and by-pass, very convenient to IU and the restaurants on the West side). The hotel is clean, and quiet. A good value. Only downside is that pool and spa were closed due to maintenance, but that happens.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

O'Charley's on IN-37, about a couple of miles south of the hotel. That is very convenient, but all downtown restaurants in Bloomington are also convenient (e.g., Michael's Uptown Cafe).

Ehhh.

I stayed at this Quality Inn on July 9 and 10th for business. It was not very crowded at all so I was surprised when my room was placed 2 rooms from the pool in the basement of the hotel. The front desk was fine nothing good nothing bad. [...] The room was clean and the AC worked well (almost too well on low). In the morning the continental breakfast was not very good. The bagels were almost stale and the selection was subpar to average. [...].I have stayed in Quality Inns in the past and that is why I decided to pay a little extra money to stay at a better name but I was disappointed that I did.

I.U. Orientation week

It was perfect for orientation week at I.U. It would of been better if the breakfast was good. They served biscuits and gravy and that was it. The orange juice was watery and the milk was warm. We enjoyed the hot tub..After walking all day on campus we needed it. Thanks

Smoking Room YUCK

I landed up staying in a smoking room after we had requested non-smoking, hotel was booked up so I had to stay in that room. It smelled very bad. It took me about 20 minutes to checkout because the front desk worker was not around. Only good thing was it was near the University.

Quality Inn Bloomington Indiana

Hotel was close to college which was a plus. However, iron did not work, only 3 extra in hotel...all in use. Staffer was trying to be as helpful as his circumstances would allow. I was recently in a Best Western in AZ for less money by facilities were nicer. Quality Inn Bloomington seemed old - tattered.Very nice young man on desk who was eager and friendly.
