Motel 6 Bloomington Indiana

never again. this place was not clean, stains on pillows, sheets, and towels. i think to many people just live there, the beds were broke down so bad i slept on the floor dont get room 221.

We were at the Bloomington, IN location for college graduation. The first night we had a non smoking room that smelled like smoke anyway. I brought my own disinfectant after a saw dirt and hair in the tub. I wiped down the whole room and the rag I used was filthy. The towels looked like rags and pieces of fuzz came off on your body as you dried yourself. I couldn't use the face cloth on my face, because it was so dirty looking. The mattresses were all springs and stained, the sheets so thin you could see through them. The mattress pad didn't even cover the whole bed. There was one gray nasty blanket in the room, that was barely fit for a dog to sleep on. We paid $39.99, don't mind a bargain motel, but it could be clean and maintained. We extended our stay and the next night we had a smoking room. All the rooms in town were sold out, so we had no choice but to stay. That room the 2nd night, was just as bad. The frame on the box spring was cracked the one gray blanket was dirty with hairs and stuff stuck to it, I went to the front desk to get another on and the girl said that she she had a couple move to their last room because the room they were in smelled. She had no more blankets, but would get me one from that room. I said no thanks, I would sleep in my clothes. I had to wipe down that room too. One word DISGUSTING!

I had a weird feeling about the room as soon as we walked in, but it wasn't until some nasty looking bug ran across the bathroom floor that I got totally grossed out. The bathroom floor, including the toilet and shower, did not look clean and when I pulled a bath towel out of the towel holder and saw how dirty the holder was, that just confirmed by feelings of disgust with this motel. Next time I'll sleep in my vehicle before stepping foot into any of those rooms!

Room 250 Met the hotel manager while he was talking to some future employees. With his beer in his hand, Attel explained that the rooms were not kept up well because of the low pricing of the hotel. He made no apology for the hole in the wall in the bathroom. Nor did he say anything about the fact that my sheets were never changed. I pointed out that I knew they hadn't been changed because the same cigarette burns were in the comforter all 7 days of my stay.

This is exactly what you would expect from a cheap motel. It wasn't overly dirty, the rooms were basic, but the staff was friendly and the location was good. In my opinion, it was an above average $40ish a night motel.

Room was fine, except my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. But I would go there again since the price is decent, especially if you get the room ahead of time.

It was an average Motel 6..nothing special but not horrible either. They had upgraded since the last time I stayed there, but it was still not fancy. Good value and location for the price though.

Fine, bare bones, but fine. There was a bed, TV and a clean bathroom that worked. That what I expected and that is what I got. We liked the fact that it was so close to the stadium that parking was never an issue. A number of places were nearby if we needed to pick up something or grab a bite to eat.
