Nice enough but not close to campus
The hotel was clean, new, and the staff were very friendly. The setup is great for extended stays. I was there for only one night and did not need the kitchenette but it was nice to have. The pool and hot tub were nice, too. Like all hotels, though, this one really needs to have established, prime time hours where children are not allowed in the pool area. The traffic in Bloomington was an unwelcome surprise and it took more time than I would have thought to get near campus....I was helping my nephew get set up for the summer and there were a lot of trips too and from campus that took anywhere from 20-40 minutes.

Fabulous Hotel!
This is a great hotel to stay at when you are visiting your children at Indiana University. It is a great little "get-away" for them and it includes a wonderful breakfast. The room is spacious and comfy. It is clean and makes for a very relaxing stay.

Couldn't be homier
Impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and the amenities within the single king-size bed studio suite we had. 2 burner range, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, in case you didn't want the complimentary breakfast, and preferred to make yourself something to eat. Not sure if the complimentary dinner we were offered is standard. Sorry we didn't get to try it.

Great place to relax
We went into Bloomington to check out the campus and city to help in the decision about graduate school. The hotel was in a nice location, not too far from downtown. The room was wonderful. My only complaint was the stomping all night from the room/hall upstairs. We didn't really have the time to check out the pool or workout room, but it was great to know those were available.

Nice place
We enjoyed our stay. Had our 2 grandchildren come and swim with us. Nice place, you'll like it.

room was clean and quiet. The evening snacks and morning breakfast were excellent. The large room with 2 beds and a pullout couch are excellent for large families. The excellent food makes it easy to justify the the slightly higher cost of the room against feeding a large family at a restaurant.

IU Students Move In
The Homewood Suites is a great Hotel for the money and location when you need that extra space when you have a kid going off to college. It was also very nice that a hot breakfast or just continental style is available to give you the energy to tackle the day ahead and all the errands you will need to get that kid in the dorm, sorority or apartment settled before you return home.
