Wonderful family resort on the lake.
Great little resort and marina. Rooms are spacious, and the lake view is superb.

Great Hotel!
Stayed at this hotel after visiting some friends from IU and the entire experience was great. The staff was extremely friendly. Also, the hotel was recently renovated so the rooms were great. My friends from IU came and stayed with us at the hotel for the day because of the unbelievable pool. The view from our room was great and we had a balcony as well. Will absolutely stay there again when I visit my friends from Indiana over the summer

Wonderful Renovation!!!!!!!!!
My family and I have stayed at the resort in the past and it was tired but always a beautiful location on the lake. We always were hopeful that the property would get updated. Well.....they updated and the rooms are just fabulous and the new pool is really nice. They now have an exercise room and are just finishing up with the hallways to the lobby. We received free breakfast because the lobby wasn't done. Be sure to ask if you go now for the free breakfast.

Soon to be IU mom
Nice option for IU stay
Although the resort is undergoing renovations, the room was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. I hope they update the carpet as it looked old and dirty, but otherwise the bed and room were clean. It was a nice option since hotels closer to IU were all booked. The area was beautiful with rolling hills, woods and the lake. The food was very good and the bar was cute. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Staff very friendly, although I stayed two nights and my room wasn't cleaned/bed made/towels refreshed after the first night. I got back too late to bother calling the front desk. It's a bit of a drive from Bloomington, but I wish I had more time to enjoy the lake. It's a beautiful setting.

Unique lakefront experience
FourWinds is right on Lake Monroe in Bloomington and I think it's about the only place you can stay right on the lake. The hotel has a big marina, although I didn't walk around much -- it's January. But it looks cool, especially at night from the balcony of the lakeside room where I stayed. The room and hallways were very clean and the front desk explained remodeled this year. Has has a neat indoor/outdoor heated pool and nice exercise room, and the bar is great with pretty good burgers and pizza. Overall it was a great deal, half the price of hotels downtown but really nice and lots of improvements since last time I visited (about a year ago) I plan to visit again during summer and enjoy the lake!

Located just north, is downtown Bloomington, with all the eateries and nightlife you need. Everyone was very hospitable.

Beautiful Lakeside location.....
I have stayed with my family several times over the years. In the past the property was in need of renovation. It has now been renovated and WOW they really did a nice job. The location was always great since my family and I love the water and boating. They have a really great fleet of rental boats including jet skis and pretty much anything you would want to rent to get out on the water.
