not bad for the price....especially if your not going to be spending much time in the room...built in safe and mini fridge dont hurt either...not to disspointed since i was there for a wedding and pretty much used the facilities minimally...had trouble getting acces to their wi fi though.....good location near lots of restraunts and stores....shares a parking lot with red lobster....thats always a thumbs up

Very good for the price
This is by no means a luxury hotel. It's your basic motel, with hallways made of cinder blocks (reminiscent of a dormitory). However, the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was great -- near shopping and IU.

perfect for the price
The room is pretty clean, better than a normal motel. The staff is nice people. The breakfast is excellent. He location is best in town, very close to the mall, restaurants, etc.

1 night in Bloomington
Parking lot is sometimes difficult to enter and exit depending on traffic. Location is very close to the mall. Nice size room. Skimpy continental breakfast.

College Town Stay
Visit with grandson and went to World of Outlaws sprint car race at Bloomington Speedway. Hotel was so, so. Noisy AC, hard bed, unfriendly staff.

A complete dump
The room was filthy. Nasty stains on the exposed box spring, shower, and carpeting. It smelled awful. The door did not latch so I couldn't leave my stuff in there unless I was in the room with the dead bolt on. Did not feel safe. Got there late and left at 1am to find another hotel. The Courtyard was only $30 more per night and was exceptional. Don't stay at the Travelodge

Just What We Needed
The room was clean. The people were friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the IU campus. It was just what we needed for a good price.

Great place to stay.
The place is very convenient to shopping mall and some great restaurant and the WIFI is very fast. Staff here is very friendly and effectively. Great place to stay if you are visiting Bloomington, IN.

Exceptionaly good for cost
Clean, quiet & pleasant staff. I requested a non smoking room & I got it. The room smelled clean and was clean. I stayed two night (the bed was comfortable) and the cleaning service did a very fine job including remaking the bed, replaced the cup & towels I used. The staff was pleasant & accommodating. Although the TV was a little outdated it provided relatively good viewing. They had a good supply of items for breakfast (bagels, Danish rolls, cold cereal, milk, coffee & orange juice (2nd morning the machine was "out of order" though). Overall & considering the cost I was very well please with my stay.
