Poor UpKeep

The hotel was very rundown. Shabby decor and an odd odor is the best description. Very hard to make it from hotel room to lobby without navigating stairs and long hallways. Elevator worked but it was very slow.

Good food, great bars. Just don't go back to the hotel unless you have to. he he he.

Falling apart

This place was falling apart and getting worse. The elevator did not work and the clerk said that they had no plans to fix it. The corridors smelled bad, the rugs were worn, and the walls were dirty. The pool was permanently closed. The room was o.k. and because it was a quiet time in Bloomington, the hotel was quiet. The TV worked fine. Also there was a fridge and microwave oven. But be warned: college students often rent rooms here and trash them with loud parties. So, find a better place to stay in Bloomington even if you have to pay more.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Drive to the town square in Bloomington and park your car. There are many good restaurants on the square and in the streets adjoining it.

OK - depends on needs

My son and I stayed and were satisfied. However, if my wife and daughter were with us they would have not been satisfied.
