Not going back anytime soon!
No problems getting into the hotel - check in easy. When we pulled around back to unload about 10:30pm and enter the building the security locks were not working. Then got in the room to find the room was neglected in way of cleanliness with hair on the toilet and on the wall of the bathroom. So I went and got my black light from the car and of course the bed spread had s e m e n residue along one of the chairs. (The black light I keep in my vehicle if for my work). NASTY. Then the floor are constructed of wood and not concrete so you heard all the foot traffic. The pool was so small. The breakfast was the best, if you're on a diet and limit your breakfast to liquid - you're good. Cheers.

Above Average at a Fair Price
This hotel is in a good area (not far from Indianapolis and close to Ball State University when hotels are booked there) with plenty to eat and do. Our room was nice with a king bed and extra chair and ottoman along with the desk and cabinet with the TV in it. The TV was nothing special but was no big deal. Micro Frig and Microwave together along with a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker and coffee. It was a non smoking room and you could tell which was refreshing. Everyone there was very pleasant and so were the other guests. A small indoor pool which was nice. Basic breakfast bar with cereal, juice, apples, oatmeal, waffle maker, and lots of coffee. For $67 it was a good night.

A mistake corrected...
When I made the reservation for the hotel, I didn't realize I made one for a smoking room when I actually wanted a non-smoking room. I arrived late so all the non-smoking rooms were gone. The woman at the front desk tried to get me a non-smoking room at another hotel but all the hotels were booked up. So she let me use some spray that kills the smell and it worked. And she was so nice about getting my problem solved. I like the Anderson Super 8 and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a great place to stay.

Perkins has great food and wait staff. We love their salads. On Sunday evenings, they sell their muffins for 99 cents. Good deal.

UNBEARABLE
OVERWHELMING smell of cleaning chemicals in lobby and rooms. The smell and worn and stained blankets were unbearable. The other couple traveling w/ us were going to sleep in their car rather their room. [...] We immediately reserved another hotel as our clothes were beginning stink!

Room was very nice & the bed was comfortable. I wish they had more than one washing machine that worked. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice people, cold breakfast
Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was all cold items or make your own waffle. No meat. No boiled eggs. It was a clean place to sleep over the holidays!

Staff was friendly, hotel did not give us the requested NON-Smoking room. 1st room was so smokey that we couldn't stay in the room. Second Smoking Room was tolerable. We request a NON-Smoking room

the breakfast was not what was promised
it was not was what i expected the breakfast was a joke the sheets had stains on them the shower drain didnt work and when i took a the tub filled up with water! i would not stay there again.

Super 8 Anderson
For my purposes, this was a great hotel: Internet service, room with a desk, easy chair and refrigerator. Good lighting. Friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast selection limited, but apples are available all day.
