Not What I Expected
We've stayed in many Comfort Inns over the years, but I will never again stay in this particular one because cleanliness is NOT #1 since I found a dirty paper napkin and a used pair of socks against the bed frame. However, what saddened me was not finding a Gideon Bible in the room. If someone took it for keeps, great! But it wasn't replaced. Maybe another one was on the way.

Good reliable place
Needs improvement: Shower curtain was too long for the installation and was mildewed along the bottom. Towels were thin and skimpy. Pros: Nice comfortable room, appeared clean, nice breakfast arrangement, overall place is clean and comfortable, the lobby was nice for quiet socializing one evening, small pool with hot tub looked clean, staff were friendly and helpful without intruding I plan to return there next time I'm in the Anderson area. I think it's a good deal compared to its neighbors. I once stayed at the nearby Garden Inn and that was a nightmare.

Nice accomodations
The room was clean and comfortable. We were going to the casino nearby and wanted to spend the night before heading to Indianapolis. It was Thanksgiving weekend and the pool was crowded and the spa broken, but otherwise was a good choice for us. Breakfast was good, but again crowded because of Thanksgiving.

Just the Ugly
We had to return to the front desk several times because our room keys did not work and the grumpy worker at the desk kept looking at us like we were stupid and didn't know how to use card keys. We ended up having to get 2 sets of keys and they still didn't work. The desk worker kept making all these excuses. The hallway and rooms were very smoky and my husband has an asthmatic condition. We reserved a non-smoking room but that is not what we got! The worker then gave us a new room and when we entered, it smelled AWFUL! There appeared to be feces smeared on the wallpaper near where the chair was sitting. The sheets did not appear to have been laundered as well. We would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. [...]

Overall rating
Since we visited family we were out during the day. It was quiet during the night and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good and access to the highway excellent. All in all a very good value. My only suggestion would be the addition of a printer. We would have liked to be able to print out the boarding passes.
